You don’t have to copy paste these meals as is.
Don’t like appam? Swap it for chapati.

Allergic to fish? Use eggs, chicken, curd, dal or legumes.

Not a fan of beetroot? Pick another vegetable.

Break each meal down into its ingredients and then mix & match based on your preferences, budget, culture and what’s available in your kitchen.

The goal is to make planning next week’s meals a little easier. Save this post for your next “What should I cook tomorrow?” moment🙌

Prebiotics & probiotics- sciency words for jackfruit, coconut, moringa leaves, fermented rice, etc. You’re not confused because you’re dumb. You’re confused because there’s too many people talking about too many things.

Our course will end your confusion. So, here’s what changed for our students:

They stopped chasing trends & learned the fundamentals - The stuff that doesn’t change no matter what influencer says what.

And now? They don’t even think about it anymore. They just... eat healthy. Naturally.

That could be you in 2 hours.

Also sincere apologies to all the Shashi’s hearing this. Don’t hate us 😅

Aval vilayichathu - most of us Malayais know it as a snack.

We at Good Food Guru wondered what would happen if we used it the way people use granola because the resemblance is uncanny and you can’t unsee it.

So we paired it with: Mango & Yogurt

That’s it, one small bowl comes to under 200 kcal and gives you a mix of carbohydrates, protein and fat along with vitamins, minerals and fibre from the ingredients used.

Approximate quantities:
• 100g yogurt
• 50g mango
• 30g aval vilayichathu

Enjoy it as:
🙋‍♀️A post-workout snack
🙋‍♀️A light dessert
🙋‍♀️An evening snack or a
🙋‍♀️Quick breakfast when you are crazy busy

The best part? It’s still the same aval vilayichathu. We’re simply using it differently.

Tomorrow we’ll show you how we reformulated the recipe and compare it with a more traditional version. Watch this space🙋‍♀️

The problem with most diet plans isn’t that they’re wrong. It’s that life doesn’t follow them.

The plan says idiappam but you feel puttu.

The plan says chicken & you only have fish.

The plan says eat at home but you have a wedding to attend.

The plan says 2 chapatis while your mother made biryani.

See the problem? The challenge isn’t following a plan on a perfect day but in knowing what to do when the day is no longer perfect.

That’s why we don’t believe your success should depend on having a meal plan in front of you.

We believe you deserve something better which is when you understand to make food decisions without constantly taking permission. The goal is to know what to do when there isn’t one.

The internet wants us to evaluate every food individually while Healthy eating doesn’t work that way.

The real skill is learning how foods fit into an overall eating pattern.

That’s exactly what we teach inside our course:
“What to eat. How much to eat. And how to do it right.”

After 25+ years in nutrition, one thing has become very clear. Most people don’t need more information.

They need less confusion, because information isn’t hard to find anymore.

You can find thousands of videos about rice.
Thousands more about coconut, protein, sugar, fasting, supplements etc.

The challenge isn’t finding information, it’s knowing: Which information applies to you, What to do when life doesn’t go according to plan, How to make food decisions confidently in everyday situations.

At Good Food Guru, that’s the conversation we’re interested in having, not just what to eat but how to think about food.

If you’re tired of nutrition noise, conflicting advice and endless food debates, you’re in the right place. Explore our content.

And if you’re looking for a structured framework to help you navigate food decisions with more clarity, our flagship course: “What to Eat, How Much to Eat & How to Do It Right”was built for exactly that purpose. The link in bio👆🏽
