I was genuinely thrilled last week watching almost all of my Abundance Mastermind franchise members actively participate in the 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿 session.

I hear a great deal about regulating the nervous system lately. The simplest practice that does the trick is intentional breathwork.
Try to deliberately extend your exhale so that it lasts a bit longer than your inhale. This breathing pattern sends a signal to your vagus nerve, which acts as an internal brake pedal to lower your heart rate and dissolve muscle tension.
Instead of a complex routine for my corporate, blue collar skilled and 15-Minutes Arogya clients, I focus entirely on the breath to help your body step out of a fight or flight state.
If you want a few other physical tools to find your center, try these:
Cold water splashes: Splash cool water on your face to calm down and lower your heart rate.
Humming: Spend a few minutes humming a tune to stimulate the vagus nerve and send safety signals to your brain.
Barefoot grounding: Stand barefoot on soil or grass to release nervous energy and return to the present moment.
Shaking: Shake out your hands, arms and legs to release trapped stress energy.
Bilateral movement: Go for a rhythmic walk with natural arm swings to balance your nervous system.

I love asking this question to my clients as a wellness coach, “What is happiness to you?”

I am not looking for the definition because it is relative to everyone. It could mean one thing to one person and something completely different to the next. I just want to understand how they view it... Is it somewhere in the distant future? Is it tied to an outcome? Or is it something that you encounter every day?

Many of us spend years chasing it as if it lives on the other side of a milestone. It is natural and himan to tell ourselves we will finally feel it when we hit a certain target, land a specific role or cross off a massive goal.
We tend to treat happiness like a grand prize waiting to be won.

But when I look back at the moments that truly fill my heart, happiness is rarely dramatic. It is soft, warm and deeply personal.

Recently, I celebrated my birthday and my Mastermind group gave me a memory I will cherish for a lifetime. Knowing that wearing a saree is my signature style, these incredible women showed up to celebrate my birthday all dressed in sarees just for me. Seeing them walk in, draped in something so uniquely me, touched my heart beyond words. It was the pure, thoughtful love behind it.

Then just the other day, I met up with two of the girls for a simple lunch. Just honest conversation, good food and of course effortless laughter. I walked away l feeling so deeply fulfilled, grounded and lighter than I had felt all week.

The baseline to happiness is when you stop looking for it in distant promises and begin to notice it in your daily life in thoughtful gestures, by being seen and loved by your near and dear ones. In unhurried times , that first warm sip of tea right before the day starts, or sitting in your parked car for two extra minutes just to listen to the end of a song you love.

We do not need to wait for a massive breakthrough or a huge achievement to give ourselves permission to feel happy.

At the end of the day, it has always been the little things.

When I sit down with leaders and entrepreneurs they usually about targets and productivity. But nowadays the talk also acknowledges physical and mental stress their teams may feel while working towards company goals.

Bringing yoga and breathwork into the workplace can change that dynamic in three specific ways.

1. Wellness sessions help releases muscle stiffness. Long hours at a desk or on a floor trap stress in the body. Gentle stretching gives people physical comfort back.

2. Help clearing mental fog. Focused breathing hits the refresh button in the brain and brings clear attention back to the self.

3. These sessions brings people closer together especially through shared laughter as they let their guard down and laugh out loud.

We must do our bit to look after the people who do the work, who are the the foundation of everything we hope to build.

I always find myself looking forward to the days when I get to conduct wellness sessions with blue collar teams. They display an incredible sense of openness and enterprise whenever I work with them.

Recently, I teamed up with Smartlife to spend a morning with a blue collar team and the experience was truly special. I wanted to offer them a break from their regular routine and a space to focus entirely on their well-being.

I along with my partner, Gayatri, spent time talking about mental and emotional health, creating an environment where everyone felt comfortable sharing how they were feeling.

Following that, I guided them through yoga, breathing exercises and gentle stretching to help release the physical tension that builds up from long hours of hard labour.

The highlight of the session was definitely laughter yoga. Watching hardworking individuals let their guard down, share loud laughs with their co-workers and just enjoy the moment reminded me of how powerful simple human connection can be.

My goal is always to blend mindful movement, team building and practical care so wellness feels accessible to everyone, no matter what they do for a living.

Seeing how receptive and eager these workers are to embrace these practices makes every single session deeply rewarding.
