🎉 Day 5 | Glow Up & Grow Up Youth Empowerment Summer Camp 2026 🎉

What an incredible way to end an unforgettable week!
We kicked off our final day with an inspiring session from Clovelle "Josh" Gardner, respected entrepreneur, philanthropist, and community leader. Josh challenged our campers to think beyond today as he spoke about goal-setting, future planning, and the importance of pursuing their dreams with purpose and determination.

Our second session was led by Dr. Fitzmore Burns, who delivered an engaging presentation on leadership, making positive choices, and personal growth, encouraging our campers to become confident, responsible, and impactful leaders in their communities.

Lunch was certainly a treat! Campers enjoyed ham burgers, fish burgers, fries, KFC, and delicious pizza, with the pizza generously sponsored by Baba's Pizza.

One of the highlights of the day was our Certificate Presentation Ceremony, where each camper was recognized for their participation and achievements throughout the week. They also received goodie bags, with the bags generously sponsored by the Human Trafficking Department and the goodies inside made possible through the generous contributions of our valued sponsors.

Before saying goodbye, we gathered to sing Happy Birthday to campers who celebrated birthdays during camp, as well as those who will be celebrating next week. It was a wonderful way to celebrate them and end the week on a joyful note.
Our campers also left their mark on our Love Board, filling it with heartfelt messages, words of encouragement, and memories from an incredible week together.

The Glow Up & Grow Up Youth Empowerment Summer Camp 2026 has officially come to a close, and we are proud to say it was a tremendous success. None of this would have been possible without the generosity and support of our amazing sponsors.

Day 4 | Knowledge is Power. Safety is Strength. 💙🧡
Today, our campers had the privilege of welcoming the Directorate of Gender Affairs – Human Trafficking Unit for two engaging and empowering sessions.

Through interactive discussions, they explored Human Trafficking Awareness & Personal Safety and Online Safety, Grooming & Smart Choices. Campers learned how to recognize unsafe situations, protect themselves online, trust their instincts, and understand the importance of seeking help from trusted adults.

A heartfelt thank you to the Human Trafficking Unit for delivering such meaningful and age-appropriate presentations that equipped our young people with valuable knowledge and practical life skills.

The learning continued beyond the classroom with exciting games, teamwork, and plenty of laughter, making for another fun-filled day at camp.

Of course, no great camp day is complete without a sweet treat! 🍦 Our campers wrapped up the day by enjoying delicious ice cream together, ending Day 4 with lots of smiles and happy memories.

One more day to go! 💙🧡✨

💜 Day 3 | Glow Up & Grow Up Youth Empowerment Summer Camp 💙

Today was a day of meaningful conversations, personal growth, and plenty of fun!

Our campers participated in two engaging sessions, Understanding Emotions, Stress & Coping Skills and Friendship, Peer Pressure & Bullying, where they explored healthy ways to manage their emotions, navigate friendships, respond to peer pressure, and build resilience.

These discussions encouraged our young people to value themselves, make positive choices, and support one another.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Alaina Gomes, MSc, MBACP, GMBPsS, Founder and Counselling Psychologist at Guiding Lanes, for facilitating both sessions. Thank you for sharing your expertise, creating a safe and welcoming space for our campers, and equipping them with practical tools that will serve them well beyond camp.

The learning didn't stop there! The day was also filled with exciting games, teamwork, laughter, and new friendships, making it another memorable day at camp.

Before a boy becomes a man, someone shows him how.

A father. A grandfather. An uncle. A mentor. A coach.

The men who take the time to guide, protect, encourage, correct, and believe in the next generation leave footprints that last a lifetime.

Fatherhood isn't measured only by biology. It is found in the conversations, the sacrifices, the lessons, the prayers, the presence, and the countless moments that help shape a child's future.

Today, Antigua Planned Parenthood Association celebrates all fathers and father figures whose love, guidance, and commitment continue to strengthen families, build communities, and inspire generations.

Happy Father's Day to the men who show up, stand tall, and help light the way forward.
