Ronde van Aruba πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ό 2026 πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ½β€β™‚οΈ72 km
2 Estafette teams from SV Athene participated in the 72 km night estafette run of Aruba.
Team 1 with Josje Peters, Lotte Rothweiler, Marc Bakker and Tom Homburg started at 12pm at the Mariniers kazerne Aruba chasing the other 33 mix estafette teams under which Team 2 with Antje GΓΌnther, Olivier Vet, Fons de Bie and Inge van Bergen and driver Victor Dapper (from Aruba)who started at 11.25 pm.
Each team was followed by it’s own 4-wheeldrive teamcar to keep the runners in the night safe and the transitions every 9 Km smooth. It was an amazing night adventure with positive teamvibes among the participants and cheered on with music by enthusiastic residents along the road in the middle of the night.
Team 1 claimed the Estafette mix victory and finished after 5h 25.49.
Team 2 hapily finished after 6 h.27. and claimed the 5th position in the field.
It was an awesome and fun adventure.

On Thursday, April 30, the team participated in the Comcabon Playa–Rincon Run.

The Body Fit team (Marieke, Dylan, Richmar & Sam) was able to overcome a big challenge and win the prize by finishing #1 in the estafette category! πŸ†πŸ₯‡
