Shri Gurudev’s Birthday
Loving and divine souls,

Let the choicest blessings of God and the masters be upon all of you. I take this opportunity to pray for you, and I send my best wishes on the occasion of the birthday of our beloved Gurudev.

Shri Gurudev was born on the full moon day of Vaishakh (April–May) according to the lunar calendar, which corresponds to 27 May. This year, the full moon fell on 1 May. In India, many celebrate according to the lunar calendar; however, 27 May has become the day of global celebration because it is a fixed date. That day brings back cherished memories of celebrating in the holy presence of our beloved Gurudev, both for a few years in India and for several years in the West.

How should we celebrate this day in our own lives?

True celebration must take place within our hearts, minds, and daily living. Greater purity and clarity should manifest within us. We should adorn ourselves with the inner light of love. The inner voice of Shri Gurudev’s teachings should echo in our minds and hearts. Let us meditate deeply and sincerely for true inner transformation.

Shri Gurudev lives in the hearts of his disciples. He lives through his dynamic teachings, practiced by sincere seekers.

Let us celebrate his birthday with every breath we take, every thought we cultivate, every word we speak, and every action we perform. Let his love shine through our hearts, our minds, our lives, and all our activities.

On this special day I bow to Shri Gurudev in each one of you and within all of creation. Let there be peace, progress, and prosperity everywhere.

With Love,

Prajnanananda

Mother’s Day
Loving and divine souls,

Let the choicest blessings of God and the masters be upon all of you. I take this opportunity to pray for you, and I send my best wishes for Mother’s Day, which will be celebrated on May 10 this year.

On this special day, I first bow to the mother in each of you and to motherhood everywhere. A mother is a divine gift to us all. She nourishes and protects us in the safety of her womb, sacrificing her comfort during pregnancy and long afterward. Can we ever truly comprehend the depth of the love and care we have received?

Many great personalities have expressed gratitude and appreciation for their mothers. Abraham Lincoln said, “All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.” A mother not only nurtures our body but also shapes our life, conduct, and character. As a saying goes, “Mother is the first friend, the best friend, and the friend forever.” Our friendship with the mother is eternal. Her love ever throbs in our hearts and minds.

On this Mother’s Day, let us celebrate Divine Motherhood in our thoughts and actions by protecting Mother Nature, Mother Earth, and mother rivers, and by honoring our human mothers with gratitude and care.

I bow again and again to the Divine Mother and to the mother in all of you.

With Love,

Prajnanananda

Easter and Passover
Loving and divine souls,

Let the choicest blessings of God and the masters be upon all of you. I take this opportunity to pray for you, and I send my best wishes on the occasion of Easter and Passover, which will be celebrated at the beginning of April 2026.

Moses led his people from the bo***ge of slavery toward freedom and a promised land. Passover commemorates this historic liberation of the Israelites from servitude. It is a celebration of hope, deliverance, and divine guidance in times of suffering.

What can we learn from this? We must not remain enslaved to our own weaknesses, nor should we enslave others through authoritarian attitudes or rigid behavior. True freedom begins within.

Jesus, born into the Jewish tradition, celebrated the Passover with his disciples on the night before his arrest. The following day he was crucified. He was buried in a tomb and later rose again. Easter proclaims the message of resurrection, victory over death, freedom from fear, and living for eternity with love and forgiveness.

The Gospel of John (11:25–26) records his words: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever believes in me will never die.”

Many centuries have passed since the time of Moses and Jesus. Yet we must ask ourselves: What have we truly learned from them? Are we walking in their footsteps? Instead of following their teachings, we are busy with religious play, ignoring the spirit and truth behind the instructions.

On this special occasion I pray that God will grant us right understanding and a positive attitude so we can live with transformation and love.

I bow to all of you. I pray for all of you on such a beautiful occasion.

With Love,

Prajnanananda

When we forget our true selves, suffering and difficulties will overpower us. When we are established in the truth of what we really are, we realize that we have come to this world to play and we will have to go.
Shri GURUDEV said, “I am God in human being and human being in God”. We are full of peace, bliss, joy and happiness. That is our nature. Nobody can sn**ch it away from us. Any situation or circumstances that we face, we perceive it, but we are free. We can play but we must be detached. We can love, we can serve but we must remain compassionately detached in every breath. During every moment, we should have self-knowledge. Self-Enquiry leads to Self-realization, Self-unfoldment and the beauty of Self-knowledge. Who am I ? I will not forget the truth of who I really am.

Let the choicest blessings of God and the masters be upon all of you. I take this opportunity to pray for you, and I send my best wishes on the occasion of the sacred birthday of our beloved and worshipful Gurudev that occurs on 27 May.
Shri Gurudev was born on the full moon day in May, which is celebrated as Buddha’s birthday. This year, it is on 12th, but we globally celebrate it on May 27 every year.

Why do we celebrate the birthdays of great personalities?
It is not just to honor them by remembering their life and mission; the real purpose is to more intensely bring them into our lives.

Masters live through the practical lives of their disciples who put their teachings into practice.
Shri Gurudev said:

na devo vidyate kāṣṭhe na pāṣāṇe na mṛṇmaye
bhāve hi vidyate devaḥ tasmāt bhāvo hi kāraṇam
“The deity is not present in the wood, stone, or mud. He is present in our attitude, feeling, and devotion. Therefore, devotion, love, and our attitude (bhava) are the cause of everything.”

We love to have an image for better perception and understanding of the Divine, such as the image of Shri Krishna or Jesus. But this is not enough. We should develop right understating.

But how?
As is our attitude, so is our perception. As is our perception, so is our progress. As is our progress, so is our perfection.
Shri Gurudev said, “Your breath is my presence.” Do we ever feel like he is residing in each one of us? If we can truly feel this, then great change will surely manifest in our lives.

On this special day I pray to Shri Gurudev to bless each one of us and the entire creation. I also bow to all of you as the living presence of God and Shri Gurudev.

With love,
