Double tap if at least one of these sounded like you.

We hear these sentences every week, and it never stops bothering us how long women are left to just live with it. It shouldn’t be this way. You don’t have to get used to feeling like this.

Whenever you’re ready, we are here for you. Link in bio.

Most parents are familiar with probiotics in a general sense. Far fewer know that one specific bacterial strain, present in the gut from the earliest days of life, plays a central role in whether a child’s immune system develops the capacity to tolerate the world around it, or whether it learns to treat it as a threat.

In a healthy breastfed infant, Bifidobacterium breve is typically the dominant bacterial strain in the gut during the first months of life. It sits at the interface between the digestive tract and the immune system, producing immune-signalling compounds, sealing the gut lining, and actively training immune cells to distinguish what is safe from what is a genuine threat.

If your child has eczema, food allergies, recurrent illness, or a gut that has never quite settled, the microbiome is a logical place to start. Read the full article, link in bio. 🌿

Meet the team.

We are qualified naturopaths, deeply passionate about this work and the difference thoughtful, personalised care can make.

A pretty great group of women if we do say so ourselves.

We care a lot about the work we do and the women and families we support each week.

We feel very grateful to do this work. Thank you to everyone who trusts us with their care.

Nature gives us so much if we give to it.

My free time in spent in nature
it lights my heart
warms my soul
and oh brings me such peace.

It’s my confidant
my medicine
my beauty
and my solace.

Of course science proves it
forest bathing, lowered cortisol, more endorphins , vitamin D,
and so on and so on
but it is such a basic primal instinct.

As much as we need cities to function
We need nature to live.

My thoughts and days lust for it, and in spring it recaptures my heart.

Nature is medicine.
Always has been.

A lot of women I work with say,
“I’ve had my hormones tested and everything came back normal.”
But often, there’s one hormone that’s never been checked
but can tell us so much.
It’s called DHEA

DHEA plays a really important role in things like:
Hormone production
Fertility and egg quality
Energy and stress resilience
And symptoms like acne, hair thinning, or irregular periods

But it’s not something that’s included in most standard hormone panels. And unless you’re working with someone who looks deeper it often gets missed.

DHEA is made by the adrenal glands,
and it helps your body make estrogen, testosterone, and a stronger hormone called DHT, which can sometimes drive symptoms even if your testosterone looks completely normal.

We test DHEAs (with an “S”) because it’s the stable, active form that stays in your blood longer and gives us a more accurate picture of your hormone and adrenal health.

Here’s a general guide to target DHEAs levels in μmol/L:
2–3 μmol/L

When DHEAs is too high, it can show up as acne, facial hair, or irregular periods.

When it’s too low, it can impact your energy, libido, egg quality, and how well your body handles stress.

If you’ve never had your DHEAs tested and you still feel like something’s off
this could be a good place to start.
