It often starts in the mind.
You feel mentally tired. Thinking takes effort. You struggle to concentrate, forget what you were about to say, and feel as though your brain is moving through fog.
Then, after a while, the body seems to follow.
You begin to feel deeply physically depleted. Your limbs may feel heavy and weak. Even small amounts of activity can take more out of you than they should, and sleep or rest doesn’t seem to restore your energy.
You may feel:
• Mentally exhausted before the physical weakness sets in
• Chronically tired, weak and depleted
• Foggy, forgetful and unable to concentrate
• Apathetic, flat or indifferent
• As though you’ve lost your usual zest for life
• Too tired to care about things the way you once did
• Drained after prolonged stress, grief, illness or emotional strain
• Worse after physical or mental exertion
• Exhausted even after sleeping or resting
• Worried that you may never fully recover
Sometimes you’re not highly emotional or visibly distressed.
You just feel… empty.
As though you’ve been running on nothing for so long that eventually, both your mind and body have run out.
There are natural remedies that may help with this particular pattern of deep mental and physical exhaustion.
I work with personalised remedies chosen according to your individual pattern — including what led up to the exhaustion, your mental and emotional state, your physical symptoms, sleep, energy and what makes you feel better or worse.
The right remedy is not the same for everyone. But when your particular pattern is understood, I can choose remedies specifically suited to you.
Online consultations are available world-wide, or you can see me in person at my clinic in Semaphore, South Australia.
