💚 A Night of Learning, Connection and Inclusion 💚
Last night I had the pleasure of presenting a professional development session on Neurodiversity with the incredible team at Village Early Education Wodonga.
As someone who is passionate about supporting children, families, and educators, it is always rewarding to see early childhood professionals come together with such enthusiasm, openness, and commitment to learning.
The thoughtful discussions, shared experiences, and genuine desire to better understand and support neurodiverse children made for a truly meaningful evening.
Every child deserves to feel safe, valued, understood, and capable. By building our knowledge and embracing neurodiversity, we can create environments that celebrate individual strengths and provide the support children need to thrive.
I am incredibly grateful to the Village team for welcoming me so warmly and for their dedication to inclusive practice. Your commitment to continuous learning will undoubtedly make a positive difference in the lives of the children and families you support every day.
Thank you for the opportunity to share, learn, and grow together.
🌱 Inclusion starts with understanding, and understanding starts with conversation.
🌱 Investing in our team means investing in our children. 🌱
At Village, we believe that ongoing professional development is essential to providing the highest quality care, education, and support for our little villagers. As the needs of children and families continue to evolve, so too should our knowledge, understanding, and practices.
That’s why we are committed to creating opportunities for our educators to learn, grow, and strengthen their skills. Professional development not only enhances the confidence and capability of our team, but also ensures that every child is supported to thrive in an inclusive, nurturing environment.
Tonight, we are fortunate to welcome Chantelle from Capable Juniors Academy, who is leading an in-service professional development session focused on Neurodiversity. This valuable learning opportunity will help our educators deepen their understanding of neurodiverse children and explore practical strategies to better support every child’s unique strengths, needs, and way of learning.
A huge thank you to Chantelle for sharing her expertise and helping us continue our journey of learning and growth. Together, we can create environments where all children feel valued, understood, and empowered to succeed. 💚
