Some things I'm not backing down on.

If you've been told your bloods are "normal" while you feel like a stranger in your own body, this one's for you.

Perimenopause is not just getting older. The 3am wake-ups, the anxiety that comes from nowhere, the brain fog, the dryness no one warned you about. These are not character flaws. They're not you being dramatic. They're physiology.

And physiology can be supported.

Too many women are running on stress, caffeine and not nearly enough protein, then being told it's all in their head. It isn't. Your symptoms are real. They have drivers. And most of them respond beautifully to the right support.

Blood sugar. Muscle. Nervous system. Gut. These are the foundations I keep coming back to, because they change how women feel through midlife.

You deserve more than a shrug and a "this is just your age."

Save this for the next time you doubt yourself.

Then tell me below: which one did you need to hear today?

"What exactly do you do?"

It is one of the most common questions I get, and it deserves a real answer.

Let’s start with what I don't do:

I do not replace your oncologist.
I do not work separately from your medical team.
I am not against conventional treatment.
I do not make decisions for my patients.

Here is what I actually do:

I see the whole person, not just the diagnosis. I see you, someone with a family, responsibilities, hopes, and fears.

I work right alongside your oncologist and healthcare team to help you navigate the physical and emotional challenges that come with breast cancer. That means working to enhance your treatment outcomes, managing side effects like fatigue, nausea, and brain fog, and supporting your gut health and nutrition.

Integrative oncology means you don't have to choose between conventional medicine and supportive care. You get both.

If you or someone you love is navigating breast cancer and wants to know if naturopathic support is right for them, let's connect.

Ever been told your blood work is "normal," but you still feel like complete garbage? You are not crazy, and you are definitely not alone.

In my clinic, I see this every single day. Women who are exhausted, bloated, anxious, dealing with painful periods, or just feeling completely "off," yet their lab sheets say everything is fine.

Here is the secret: there is a massive difference between a normal lab range and an optimal functional range. "Normal" just means you do not have a clinically diagnosable disease. It does not mean you are thriving.

Here are 3 numbers where the standard "normal" range is failing you:

1. Ferritin (Stored Iron)
Standard Normal: Can go as low as 12.

The Reality: Most women do not actually feel well or energized until it is closer to 70 or 80.

2. TSH (Thyroid Marker)
Standard Normal: Most labs will not flag anything under 4.0.

The Reality: A lot of women start feeling sluggish and symptomatic once it creeps above 2.0. Plus, if your doctor only checked TSH and skipped T3 and T4, you are only seeing half the picture.

3. Vitamin D
Standard Normal: "Sufficient" is often marked at 50.

The Reality: For optimal immunity, mood, and true vitality, you want that number closer to 100 or 150.

My job is not just to see if your results fit inside a standard box. It is to figure out if your numbers are right for you.

If you’ve been treating your joint pain, brain fog, mood dips, and broken sleep as four separate problems, you’re constantly playing catch-up.

You’ve probably googled them all individually. Maybe you were told the joint pain is just standard inflammation, the brain fog is stress, the mood dips are anxiety, and the sleep issues are just a passing phase.

But when these specific four symptoms show up at the exact same time, it’s not a coincidence. It’s a pattern.

In perimenopause and menopause, Oestrogen isn't just a reproductive hormone. It directly impacts your joints, your neurotransmitters, your cortisol levels, and your sleep architecture. When Oestrogen drops, it triggers all of these systems simultaneously.

Your body isn't telling you four different things. It’s telling you one thing.

Stop trying to fix the pieces individually. When we map out the whole picture together in a consult, we target the root driver so you can finally get ahead of how you feel.

Creatine isn’t just for 25-year-old gym bros trying to bulk up.

Despite what your TikTok feed might tell you, this is actually one of the most thoroughly researched supplements in existence. But because the mainstream conversation focuses almost entirely on young men, women in midlife are missing out on the parts that matter most to them.

During perimenopause and menopause, changing hormone levels put women at a much higher risk for accelerated muscle loss. Creatine directly helps protect that lean muscle mass, which in turn supports your bone density, metabolic health, and insulin sensitivity.

But the benefits go beyond the physical. Emerging research shows that creatine plays a significant role in brain energy metabolism. It is currently being studied for its ability to support cognitive function, memory processing speed, and mental fatigue during hormonal transitions.

The catch? Supplements don’t work in a vacuum. Taking creatine without adequate protein intake, resistance training, and addressing the root drivers of your fatigue is just an expensive habit. Context changes everything.

Because your body chemistry is entirely unique, general advice only goes so far. If you want to figure out whether creatine actually makes sense for your specific goals and lifestyle, let’s look at your unique picture together.

If you’ve been dismissed by conventional medicine or turned off by the toxic positivity of mainstream wellness culture, it makes complete sense that you’ve been hesitant about naturopathy.

Real naturopathy isn't about trendy juice cleanses or unbacked promises. It is a systematic, evidence-based approach to your health. We look at the data, the pathology, and how your hormones, sleep, and gut interact to find the actual root cause of your symptoms.

Your body isn't failing you, and your symptoms aren't just in your head. Let's have a proper conversation about your health. Book a free discovery call through the link in my bio to see if we are a good fit.

What is one of the biggest threats to your health?

Sugar in all its forms can negatively impact your health. It places stress on the body and is linked to a range of chronic conditions, including weight gain, high blood pressure, heart disease, cognitive decline, fatty liver, and increased cancer risk.

It can also lower immune resilience for several hours after consumption, leaving you more vulnerable to illness.

Sugar shows up in many forms, from obvious sources like sweets and soft drinks, to refined grains, flours, juices, syrups, dried fruits and processed foods. It can be highly addictive and difficult to moderate, which is why it is so easy to over consume.

One of the most powerful things you can do for your health is to significantly reduce or remove sugar intake and support stable blood sugar levels.
