Building relationships is vitally important when I’m starting out with new clients.
Sometimes you have to get creative to break a cycle, where you can then begin to build a strong, trusting relationship.
Art for kids on YouTube was a great way to not only engage in an activity together, but also encourages following instructions to create an end result.
My little friend not only did this until the end, but continued on to extend on this using his own ideas and conveying this through art and language.
The kicker was when he said “I don’t want you to go, I want to help you”. 🥰
