There’s just something about sitting in the car with a coffee and a bun - peak life right there 😂

Everything was feeling a bit much there for a while and even being on my phone was making me feel sick (too much noise💥).

I think mid-40s hormones are hitting hard 😬 so I’ve been trying to keep things a bit more simple day-to-day. (And when sleep is pretty much out the window I don’t have energy for much else anyway 🥱).

Thankfully it was the Easter holidays so we were all off work and school so that definitely helped. I love nothing more than no routine!!

Lots of time outside the last few weeks (which helps a lot), time with the kids, nice food and about a million episodes of The Office.

Just a few moments from the last few weeks:

Today wasn’t a bad day at all - but my head just felt a bit busy again and the overwhelm was there. Especially this morning.

So did a few wee things that help me when I feel like that - including something new that I think has helped already. Anyone else tried ear seeding?

Finding little things that help take that edge off as you go about your day is so important.

My very normal ‘help me function as a 40-something mum’ things 😅

Nothing extreme or complicated and I’m sure I could do much better, but these are just a few small things that help my body and brain feel a bit better in everyday life.
