Reaching out to fellow stallholders or event organisers.

If you receive an email like the one pictured, always ALWAYS verify the email is coming from the event organisers. This email looked incredibly legitimate and contains most of the details I would expect to receive, but it is not coming from the actual event hosts as evidenced from their public social media pages.

Always verify who is attempting to get in contact with you before offering any personal details or payments!

Thank you to everyone who came along to the Lara Community Market yesterday and took a fluffy friend home with them. We sold 17 sheep in total, our best market ever! Will have to get our hands busy again, what colour sheep would you like to see in the future? ☺️🐑

Mother's day is just around the corner! This Sunday the 10th of May I will be at the Lara Community Market with my lovely mother and our gorgeous sheep. There will be lots of new stallholders for this event, a great day to come out and get her something she'll love. We hope to see you there! 🐑

Unfortunately due to the worsening weather conditions, the Bannockburn creators and craft market won't be going ahead today. The flock will keep warm and safe at home 🐑

I made a big mistake and I must apologise.
I overestimated my tech savvy-ness with Instagram. For the last few years I've been receiving messages from people wishing to adopt sheep, but they have been getting filtered into the 'Requests' tab I was completely unaware of!
I am very sorry to everyone who never received a response. It feels as though it may be a bit audacious to respond at this point. I will try to be better about checking these!

We have too many adorable sheep.
With the rise of Kmart and Temu, less people are willing to pay for pricier handmade goods. Which is understandable, we're in a cost of living crisis, everything is more expensive!
We do markets only once or twice a year where my health permits. Unfortunately last year's market didn't do too well and they're quickly piling up.

We will be at the Creators & Craft Market Bannockburn this Sunday. Sheep will be $30 each. Please help me downsize the mob, their feed is getting costly!

We also still take online orders at $30 each plus postage
