A huge thank you to all the amazing performers who joined us for our Wear It Purple Day Open Mic Night! 💜

headspace Batemans Bay and headspace Narooma teamed up with Queerobodalla for a fun night of live music, with 10 youth acts taking to the stage. 🎸

Congratulations to Outbound, who were voted People’s Choice by the crowd, and runners-up Poppy and Hugo! A special thank you also goes to our brilliant youth MC, Jayce, for helping keep the night running.

We’ll leave you with the words Brave Shades shared on the night: “Keep being unapologetically proud of who you are!” 🌈

We got in to life this winter! ☀️

Throughout the winter school holidays, headspace Batemans Bay and headspace Narooma brought the tips for a healthy headspace to life through free activities across the Eurobodalla.

From kayaking, equine workshops and putt putt to Dungeons & Dragons and a movie session, young people had opportunities to try new things, stay active, build skills and connect with others.

The Health Check Convoy is coming to the South Coast next week! 💚

Drop in between 10am and 3pm for free health checks, skin checks, dental checks, mental health support and more. All services are free, open to everyone and walk-ins are welcome.

A nationwide phone alert test is coming ⚠️📱

On Monday 27 July, the Australian Government will test the new national emergency warning system, AusAlert.

The alert will cause compatible devices to vibrate and play a loud warning sound, even if they're on silent or Do Not Disturb. A message will also appear on your device clearly stating that it's a test alert, and no action is required.

If you're supporting a young person, talking about the test beforehand can help them know what to expect.

If receiving the test could disrupt you or cause you or someone you know to feel unsafe, turn compatible devices off or switch them to aeroplane mode before the scheduled test time in your location and leave them off for at least one hour.

Collect, Explore and Win

Our Family Fun Day is on this Friday, 17 July at Bill Smyth Oval Narooma from 10am - 2pm. Bring the kids along and pick up a passport to start the fun. Visit each stall and collect a stamp. Once all stamps have been collected, take your completed passport to the finish line to be entered into one of our prize draws.

Major prizes include:

🎉Nintendo Switch 2 with two games
🎉iPad
🎉$500 Moruya Bicycles voucher towards a bike or scooter (for children aged 4–10 years)
🎉Mobile Phone

Each major prize will have its own separate draw. After the major prize draws all remaining entries will be placed into a final draw for a range of voucher prizes.
