Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space lies your power to choose our response. A mind of calmness and clarity increasing that space.

Widening this gap is the ultimate key to emotional regulation and stress management. When you pause instead of instantly reacting, you move from impulsive, stress-fueled triggers to calm, deliberate choices. This single shift preserves your energy, prevents unnecessary conflict, and keeps you anchored under pressure.

In my upcoming course, you will learn practical mindfulness tools to recognize triggers in real time, build that vital mental pause, and regain control over your daily responses.

During a course I’m partaking in at the moment I got to evaluate my personality type.

The Champion personality type in the 16 Personalities system refers to ENFP (Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Prospecting). It is one of the most enthusiastic, people-oriented, and possibility-focused personality types.

People with the Champion (ENFP) personality tend to:

* Inspire others with their optimism, energy, and vision.
* Value deep, meaningful relationships and enjoy helping people grow.
* See possibilities everywhere, often coming up with creative ideas and solutions.
* Communicate passionately, making them natural motivators, teachers, coaches, and storytellers.
* Value authenticity, preferring to be true to themselves rather than conforming to expectations.

Strengths

* Charismatic and engaging
* Creative and imaginative
* Compassionate and empathetic
* Curious and open-minded
* Able to motivate and encourage others

Challenges

* May become distracted by new ideas before finishing old ones.
* Can avoid conflict because they dislike hurting people’s feelings.
* May overcommit and struggle with routine or detailed tasks.
* Can become emotionally overwhelmed when relationships are strained.

In relationships

Champions seek deep emotional connection. They are affectionate, supportive, and encouraging, but they also need partners who appreciate their independence and enthusiasm.

In careers

ENFPs often thrive in roles that involve people, creativity, and purpose, such as:

* Counselling or coaching
* Teaching or training
* Marketing and communications
* Public speaking
* Entrepreneurship
* Writing or the creative arts

One thing to keep in mind is that the 16 Personalities framework is based on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Many people find it useful for self-reflection and understanding communication styles, but psychologists generally do not regard it as a scientifically validated measure of personality in the same way that models like the Big Five are.

Sounds like me me thinks.

What personality type are you?

🚶‍♂️ Transform your daily steps into a powerful stress-relief ritual.

Mindful walking takes mindfulness out of the chair and into motion. By syncing your breath with your stride and anchoring your awareness to the physical sensations of movement, you instantly quieten an overactive mind. It grounds your nervous system, slashes cortisol, and boosts your energy.

In my upcoming course, you will experience guided walking meditations designed to bring deep presence to your everyday movement, helping you find calm even on the busiest days.

🌿 True relaxation is more than just taking a break—it's essential maintenance for your body and mind.

When you intentionally activate your body’s relaxation response, you actively reverse the damaging physical effects of stress. Deep relaxation lowers your heart rate, reduces muscle tension, and boosts your immune system.

Mentally, it clears the fog, allowing for sharper decision-making and better emotional balance. By stepping out of "fight-or-flight" mode, you give your nervous system the space to restore, sleep deeper, and wake up genuinely refreshed. It’s the ultimate reset button.
