💛 To our participants, families and community

We know there is a lot being said right now about possible NDIS changes, and for many people this is bringing up fear, uncertainty and worry about the future.

If you’re feeling scared or overwhelmed that’s completely understandable.
This is about your life, your supports, and your sense of security.

There has been a Bill introduced to Parliament called the NDIS Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026.
We want to gently explain what this actually means, in plain language.

Introducing a Bill does NOT mean the law has changed.

For a Bill to become law in Australia:
It must be debated and passed by the House of Representatives
Then it must be debated and passed by the Senate
Both sides must agree on the final wording
Only then is it signed and becomes law
Until all of that happens:
👉 Nothing changes�👉 Your current NDIS plan stays the same�👉 You don’t need to do anything right now

This process can take time, and Bills often change along the way. Some never pass at all.
At Your Path Your Way, our role is to stand alongside you, help you make sense of what you’re hearing, and support you without panic or pressure.
We are watching developments closely and supporting participants individually, because every person’s situation is different.

Our Director, Justine Barragan, was a Subject Matter Expert alongside the wonderful Amanda Robinson at the NGO Training Centre in the development of their Support Coordination suite of courses.

Drawing on real-world experience as the Director of Your Path Your Way Support Coordination, Justine worked collaboratively to help design practical, purpose driven learning that reflects the realities of the NDIS space and the day-to-day role of Support Coordinators.

These courses were built to bridge the gap between theory and practice ensuring learners gain not just knowledge, but real confidence in navigating complex participant supports, budgets, and implementation strategies.

We’re proud to see this work continuing to support the sector through accessible, high-quality training.
