Don't Just Run. Run Strong.

Training for City2Surf? or just love running?

Try these at-home strength tests to see if your body is where it needs to be for optimal performance and injury prevention.

Are you up for the challenge?

Single Leg Sit-To-Stand:
Sit on a chair. Lift one foot off the floor and try to stand up on the other leg without using your arms.

Single leg Calf Raise Endurance Test:
Stand on one leg. Slowly raise up onto your toessss and back down again. Repeat as many times as you can.

Plank Hold:
Forearm plank position. Elbows under shoulder, body in a straight line, engage the core.

Single Leg Bridge:
Lie on your back with one foot on the ground and the other leg lifted. Push through your heel to lift your hips.

Step Down Test:
Stand on a step. Slowly lower one leg to tap on the floor with your heel, then return to standing.

🎉 5 Years of Invigor Health! 🎉

They say you should always plan for the unexpected, but we didn’t exactly pencil in a global pandemic when we launched Invigor Health five years ago. A true COVID baby, we started with a vision to do things differently in physiotherapy and preventative health—and have been rolling with the punches ever since.

A lot has changed in five years, and it’s been a privilege to grow alongside an incredible team and to work with patients who trust us to help them live actively and age gracefully.
