Our pastoral care team plays a vital role in being available to spend time with people who need a listening ear.

If you are looking for a yummy bite to eat, a refreshing beverage or just a chance to chat with new and old friends... join us every Friday at the Community Centre for our Cafe 11 from 9.00am and our BBQ lunch from 12pm.

We also have our Musical Connections program at 10am for Ukele Lessons and 11am Sing-Along Sessioon you want to singalong to your favourite tunes.

Would you like to make a valuable contribution to your community? Carinity Fassifern Community Centre is seeking more volunteers to support our programs and clients.

Roles include catering in our café, garden and grounds maintenance, administration and logistics, and community outreach including providing practical support to the local vulnerable and elderly.

Anyone interested can visit the centre at 4 Little High Street in Boonah, phone 5302 1110, or click on the link below.

We welcome passionate people who are willing to lend a hand and give back to the Scenic Rim community. There is no commitment required and full training is provided.

Aftercare Connect has been launched at Carinity Fassifern Community Centre.

The initiative provides follow-up support for community members after programs, classes, counselling, workshops and appointments.

Aftercare Connect offers light emotional grounding, follow up programs and check-ins, social connection and community engagement, and bridging support and warm referrals.

On Friday last week we went blue to help end bullying.

The Carinity Fassifern Community Centre was decorated blue and a coffee and cake special was sold at our café.

Proceeds from our gathering, part the second annual Boonah Turns The Town Blue fundraising event, will support Do it for Dolly Day.
