🌸 Saba’s Postnatal Exercise & Health Journey 🌸
At 6 weeks post C-section, Saba is now progressing to postnatal Reformer Pilates classes , close to home. Since hospital, she’s been focusing on gentle rehabilitation including mobility work, light strength exercises, and walking—all while navigating the beautiful chaos of new motherhood. 💕
And introducing little Aysa 👑, Saba’s princess, who has been keeping Mum very busy!
Today we were fortunate to be looked after by some wonderful local physios for a pre-Pilates assessment. Aysa was dressed to impress and seemed to be wondering where on earth Mum was taking her! 😄
After a last-minute request for milk and cuddles just five minutes before the appointment, Saba attended to Aysa’s needs and miraculously managed to arrive on time. 💖
A gentle reminder for all mums: self-care starts with the basics. 🌸
Taking care of yourself doesn’t have to be perfect or complicated . Sometimes it’s challenging, sometimes it’s just small acts of kindness towards yourself. By looking after your own health and wellbeing, you’re better able to keep showing up for your baby every day. ❤️
Every walk, every exercise session, every healthy meal, every moment of rest counts. Progress isn’t always linear, and some days are harder than others, but every small step forward matters. ✨
Motherhood is beautiful, messy, exhausting, rewarding, and full of unexpected moments. Give yourself grace, celebrate the small wins, and remember that looking after yourself is not selfish—it’s essential. 🤍
