📣 IT’S TIME TO MAKE SOME NOISE & STOP THE BILL

The NDIS Future Generations Bill could have serious consequences for allied health providers, the workforce, children, families and communities—and decisions are being made now.

Subscribe to the Queensland Allied Health Providers Group mailing list and we’ll send you our practical advocacy guide to help you write to:

✉️ Angus Taylor MP, Leader of the Opposition
✉️ Senator Michaelia Cash, Leader of the Opposition in the Senate
✉️ Your local Federal MP

The guide will help you explain:

• the impact on small and medium allied health businesses and the workforce
• what inadequate support for children with low-to-moderate needs could mean for every child in a mainstream classroom
• why existing professional regulation through AHPRA and peak bodies must be recognised

We are used to advocating for our clients. It is also okay—and essential—to advocate for our workforce and the communities we support.

⏰ Letters need to be sent by 14 August 2026.

Subscribe now and the guide will be sent directly to your inbox:

📢 Queensland private practice allied health – we need your voice - TODAY!

When we started QAHPG just a few weeks ago, our goal was simple:

To ensure Queensland's private allied health sector has a seat at the table.

Together, we've already made incredible progress.

âś… 137 private practices represented
âś… 600+ clinicians delivering care every day
âś… 10,800+ children currently being supported across Queensland*

Next week, we'll be meeting with senior Queensland Government representatives to advocate for the future of private allied health.

But before we walk into that meeting...

We want to ensure every practice has the opportunity to be counted.

If you own or lead a private allied health practice in Queensland and haven't yet completed our survey, there's still time.

Even if you've already completed it, you can make a huge difference by:

👉 Sharing this post
👉 Tagging other practice owners and directors
👉 Following .community
👉 Subscribing for updates via our landing page

Every additional response strengthens the evidence we take to Government.

This advocacy is about more than businesses.

It's about protecting the workforce that supports Queensland families every day and ensuring children can continue accessing the services they need, close to home.

Many practices. One voice.

📣We're stronger when we speak with one voice💪.

If you're a Queensland private practice allied health provider, please take 2 minutes to complete our survey before 1:00 pm today so your experiences can help inform QAHPG's presentation to government.

The survey will remain open after today, and we'll continue using the data to advocate for children, families and providers in the weeks ahead.

Every response helps strengthen our collective voice.

⏰ URGENT: Queensland Allied Health Providers - We Need Your Input

The Queensland Allied Health Providers Group (QAHPG) is advocating on behalf of private allied health providers supporting children under 9 years of age as recent NDIS changes and the rollout of Thriving Kids continue to impact service delivery across Queensland.

⚠️ We are working within very tight timeframes and need your support.

If you are a private allied health provider in Queensland currently providing NDIS-funded services to children under 9, please stay connected and help us ensure the experiences of the sector are represented.

We encourage you to share this post with colleagues and networks across Queensland so we can strengthen our collective voice and advocacy efforts.

Every voice matters. The stronger the engagement, the stronger the evidence we can provide to government and decision-makers regarding the implementation of Thriving Kids and its impacts on the private allied health sector.

Introducing the Queensland Allied Health Providers Group (QAHPG)

The Queensland Allied Health Providers Group (QAHPG) has been established to bring together private allied health providers from across Queensland to provide a collective voice during a period of significant reform and change.

QAHPG was formed in recognition of the critical role private allied health providers play in supporting children, families and communities across Queensland, and the importance of ensuring the sector's experiences, expertise and insights are represented in policy discussions and system design.

Our focus is on collaboration, information sharing, advocacy and ensuring the voices of private providers are heard as changes to early childhood and disability supports continue to evolve.

By working together, we can strengthen the visibility of the private allied health sector and contribute constructively to conversations that impact children, families, practitioners and services across Queensland.

We are proud to be supported by the following members and member organisations:
