🎓 Learning never stops at Pelviology.
This weekend Marley attended the Born Ready Collaborative, expanding her skills in transperineal ultrasound (TPUS) and the use of visual biofeedback to support effective bearing down during the second stage of labour.
Emerging evidence suggests TPUS can provide real-time assessment of pelvic floor muscle coordination, helping clinicians individualise coaching and improve maternal understanding of pushing mechanics. While high-quality evidence continues to evolve, systematic reviews and expert consensus support TPUS as a valuable adjunct to clinical assessment and birth preparation.
We’re passionate about combining the best available evidence with practical skills to support confident, informed and empowered birth experiences.
💚 Investing in clinician education today to improve patient care tomorrow. Ask us about TPUS, birth preparation and pelvic floor physiotherapy at your next appointment in Brisbane.
