đ¸ Love Languages in Children đ¸
Today my daughter brought me a coffee. Not just a coffee â her love.
Her love language is gifts. Thatâs how she knows to show she cares. I had driven her to work and walked her to the door, just being Mum. And in return, she handed me this simple cup.
To some, it might look like nothing special. But to me, it was everything. Because behind that coffee was her heart saying:
đ âI see what you do for me.â
đ âIâm grateful.â
đ âThis is how I love you back.â
It made me pause and realise â when we learn our childrenâs love language, we unlock a whole new way of seeing them. We notice the little things that are actually big things.
Love languages arenât just about couples or relationships. Theyâre about connection, about recognising the ways our children are quietly whispering âI love youâ every day.
Sometimes, love looks like a coffee. âđ
