🌸 Love Languages in Children 🌸

Today my daughter brought me a coffee. Not just a coffee — her love.

Her love language is gifts. That’s how she knows to show she cares. I had driven her to work and walked her to the door, just being Mum. And in return, she handed me this simple cup.

To some, it might look like nothing special. But to me, it was everything. Because behind that coffee was her heart saying:
💌 “I see what you do for me.”
💌 “I’m grateful.”
💌 “This is how I love you back.”

It made me pause and realise — when we learn our children’s love language, we unlock a whole new way of seeing them. We notice the little things that are actually big things.

Love languages aren’t just about couples or relationships. They’re about connection, about recognising the ways our children are quietly whispering “I love you” every day.

Sometimes, love looks like a coffee. ☕💝

“The Unseen Weight of I Am Not Enough”

Holding Ground for Others / Women

There is a quiet, unshakable power in holding ground—not just for ourselves, but for the women beside us, behind us, and those still finding their way forward. It means standing tall even when it’s easier to step aside. It means speaking truth, even when your voice shakes. It means refusing to shrink so others feel less small.

To hold ground for other women is to say: I see you. I won’t move until you’re safe to stand here too.

It’s in the way we open doors not just out of courtesy, but out of conviction. In how we amplify her voice when the room talks over her. In how we make space at tables we had to fight to sit at—and then pull up more chairs.

Holding ground is radical love. It is unspoken solidarity. It is generational courage passed hand to hand.

And when we do this—when we hold ground together—we don’t just survive.
