We’re excited to share some photos from our weekly sessions at the Hume Men’s Shed in Craigieburn! Every Thursday, our participants are learning valuable carpentry and woodworking skills-using tools like drills, screws, clamps, and levels-to create wooden bench seats. With the dedicated support of Hume Men's Shed volunteers and our support workers the guys are doing an amazing job and absolutely loving every minute of it.

The Hume men’s shed Craigieburn is a welcoming community space where men of all backgrounds can connect, learn, and contribute. It’s fantastic to see our participants building skills, friendships, and confidence in such a supportive environment.

Engaging with Democracy at BDS Craigieburn!

We were delighted to welcome a guest speaker from the Australian Electoral Office to BDS Craigieburn recently! Our clients enjoyed an engaging session where they learned all about the Australian voting process, including the ins and outs of preferential voting.

This interactive session was both educational and inspiring, encouraging our clients to become more involved in shaping our country's future. We're proud to nurture a community that values active citizenship and informed decision-making.

A heartfelt thank you to our guest speaker for sharing their expertise and to our clients for their enthusiasm and participation!
