National Stroke Week | 3–9 August 2026

This week, Bunbury Family Doctors is proud to support National Stroke Week by helping raise awareness of the signs of stroke and the importance of acting FAST.
A stroke can happen to anyone, at any age. Recognising the signs early and calling 000 immediately can save a life and reduce the risk of permanent disability.

Remember F.A.S.T.:

🟠 F – Face: Has their face drooped?
🟠 A – Arms: Can they lift both arms?
🟠 S – Speech: Is their speech slurred or difficult to understand?
🟠 T – Time: Call 000 immediately. Every minute counts.

Throughout the week, our doctors and nursing team will be providing F.A.S.T. information packs to patients to help spread this important message.

Together, we can increase awareness, recognise the signs, and help save lives.

Throughout July, they gave up alcohol to support an incredible cause, helping to raise vital funds for Australians affected by cancer. Every dollar raised helps provide practical support, comfort, and care for people undergoing cancer treatment and their families.

This is the last chance for children to receive the FluMist nasal spray influenza vaccine at our clinic.

FluMist will no longer be available after Friday 7th August.

If you'd like your child to receive the needle free flu vaccine, please contact our reception team as soon as possible to book an appointment before it's gone.

This is suitable for children aged 2 - 17 years old.
