This is a pretty typical day for me (Except the Biscoff ice-cream haha! Those are very much in moderation because they are TOO GOOD!). I don’t restrict but I focus my plate on protein & fibre and then add healthy fats, carbs & fun!

One of the easiest ways to build satisfying, nourishing meals is to include all the key components on your plate.
🥩 Protein – helps keep you full and supports muscle & bone health.
🥦 Non-starchy vegetables – packed with vitamins, minerals and fibre.
🥔 Carbs & fibre – your body’s preferred energy source and important for gut health.
🥑 Healthy fats – support hormones, brain health and help keep meals satisfying.

You don’t need to make every meal perfect—just aim for balance most of the time. Small, consistent habits will always beat extreme diets.

Morning breakfasts don’t get much easier than this 🍒🍫

I meal prep these Oat & seed packs ahead of time so breakfast takes no time at all. Just tip a pack into a pot add your milk and cook for 3-5 minutes. Add some protein powder (don’t cook it) some cherries and chocolate spread, and you’re done.
It’s a simple way to make high-protein, high-fibre breakfasts feel effortless on busy mornings.
Save this idea for your next meal prep! ✨

Choc Cherry Oats:
15-20g Oats
1 Tbsp Chia
1 Tbsp Flaxseeds
1 Tbsp Almond meal
1 cup Milk of choice
1 scoop Protein Powder
You many need a splash of water once you add the protein powder to get to your preferred consistency

Toppings:
10g Chocolate Spread
Cherries

Slow-cooked meat is one of my favourite meal prep hacks because it stretches so far.

This batch became pulled pork freezer burritos—packed with protein, full of flavour, and ready to grab whenever I need a quick lunch.
A little prep now means less stress later, fewer expensive takeaway lunches, and always having something delicious ready to go. 🌯

Pulled Pork Shoulder:
1-2kg Pork Shoulder
1/2 Packet Mingle Seasoning American Rub
1 onion
Stock or Water

1. Preheat your oven to 150 degrees C.
2. Cut up your onion in sliced rings and sit them on the bottom of the Dutchoven.
3. Add your spice rub to all sides of the roast
4. Sit the roast on top of the onions and add some liquids to the bottom of the Dutch oven. Just until the bottom on the roast.
5. Roast for 3-4 hours (bigger roasts will need longer)
6. Remove & pull apart with a fork. It should fall apart. If not roast for a bit longer.
with veggies, in a burger or make freezer burritos like I have here.

A day of simple meals focused on high protein + high fibre to keep me feeling full, support my training, and make healthy eating feel easy.

Remember: you don’t need perfect meals—just meals that help you reach your goals. 🤍

🌶️ The Sauce Series Episode 1: Romesco Sauce.

This smoky, roasted red pepper sauce is one of my favourite things to prep because it instantly makes healthy meals taste anything but boring.
✨ Use it:
• Spread on sandwiches and wraps
• Toss through roasted veggies
• Dollop onto grilled chicken, steak or fish
• Stir through pasta or grain bowls
• As a dip for crunchy veggies
• Drizzled over eggs or baked potatoes
One prep, endless meals.

I’m all about ingredient prep over meal prep—stock your fridge with versatile basics like this, and building delicious meals all week becomes so much easier.

This week I prepped some easy ingredients that would make lunches, snacking and easy meals taste better.

Ingredient prep will make your life so much easier, be more nutritious than the store bought option and really it doesn’t take up that much time.

What do you love to Prep?
