Living with an autoimmune disease is so brutal to the ego when you were used to being fit, strong, energerised, and capable of carrying the load... 🫠

Learning to slow down, say 'no' more often, resting instead of pushing, giving grace while wanting to grow through discomfort, and realising consistent small daily habits far outweigh the 'all or nothing' way.

I'm quirky, a bit weird, hard shell but soft interior, I swear like a pirate, I'm a little bogan, but a total straight ass these days.
I love like a Disney Princess but you may also hear me calling bad drivers "muppets" 😤

Very yin and yang of me ☯️

Look, I'm here to celebrate my differences so I can attract MY people and my people perhaps need a timeout, am I right? 🥴😴

So, what was called 'The Online Reset' is now 'TIMEOUT'. Because holy f**k words like 'Reset' as well as "Release" "Rise" "Awaken" etc in this industry are as common as floral wallpaper in the 70s and I'm not here to be the same 🙅‍♀️

No-one warns you that safety and having your s**t together can actually feel boring 🫣
When you were addicted to things that gave you an unnatural amount of dopamine, it feels flatline when you're sober and ticking life's boxes.
This is why I believe it's not enough to just quit something you should replace it with a new and healthier thing- but don't forget to address why the void is there in the first place 🫡
It is a certain type of breathwork coupled with movement that keeps me afloat. I feel sorry for old me now that I'm strong, independent, and in control.

One thing I find fascinating is how many physical and mental health challenges have a strong connection to chronic stress.

Yet when breathwork gets mentioned, it's often dismissed as something that's only for yogis, hippies, or people who like sitting cross-legged on a mountain 😅

The reality is much less exciting.

Breathwork is simply using one of the few systems in your body that you can consciously control to influence the ones you can't.

Your breathing patterns directly affect your nervous system, stress response, heart rate, energy levels, focus, sleep quality, and emotional regulation which in turn has a huge impact on your physical health.

That's why I teach it.

Not because it's trendy.
Not even because it's spiritual.
Because it's practical, accessible, backed by science, and something you can use anywhere when life inevitably gets lifey and you don't know how to get your health concerns under control.

If you've been feeling at a loss, maybe it's time to learn a skill that helps address the cause rather than just managing the symptoms.
