🙌 Happy Birthday Chandni who lost 8kgs and reversed acne 🙌

“Hi Arpita,
I can't thank you enough for your enormous support, guidance and knowledge on my journey to achieve a healthier and stronger me..both physically and mentally💪

Transform was all about being myself, but everyday working towards a better version of myself! I didn’t have to starve myself or miss out on yummy foods that I love and I didn’t have to live at the gym and wondered how do i shape up my body! 😃

How did I do it?
These 12 weeks just flew by!
But with each day making my best to stick to the “3 food rules” and to religiously complete the daily tasks you’d outlined for me, this made me shed those 8kgs.

Transform stopped my cravings for junk food so I could give up my sugar addiction and stop binging on fast food- no more burgers or chocolate cravings!

Completing the assignments from you gives me so much energy, that I want to exercise, even at the start when I was really unhealthy and super unfit I didn’t want to sit on the lounge, netflixing!

I wanted to move and do some rope skipping and enjoyed that- really encouraging coming from someone who hates exercising!! 😱😆

I can easily stick to these new habits for the rest of my life and will not feel any pressure or deprivation.

❤️❤️ It’s amazing if you think about it- you can actually eat more, train less (but smarter) to feel stronger, healthier, more confident and sexier 😊

Amongst the small daily wins in this journey, the main 4 are:
1. My posture- no more round backs!
2. Facial acne due to hormonal imbalance fixed! It was pretty bad few months before, and now thanks to my ideal water intake, they have all disappeared!
3. My body shape- hubby says I now have a butt 😂 and a waist!
4. New mindset- no more moody days!

WOW!

I have learnt with you, that it’s not just about losing weight as quickly as possible. Physical results are great and they definitely make us feel better but the real transformation has to happen in our head first🧠 Then we start seeing changes on the outside😊

Sometimes it’s about enjoying the process, still enjoying life and… Proving to yourself that you can bloody do it!!! 💯

That you can achieve your goals; Feel strong; Enjoy life and indulge in good good without any guilt; Overcome the hurdles that are thrown at you in life with gratitude.

Today I enjoy taking selfies, wear dresses, and as my husband told me today: same wifey but with a brand new mindset ❤

I am no more afraid to step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to reach my goal.

Thank you Arpita ❤. You make a wonderful coach. Not only you wanted to help me reach my goals, but went out of your way to teach me how to have a sustainable lifestyle and have this freedom in my head, so I can enjoy social life, train smart and see results without a restrictive diet, HIIT trainings or daily cardio.

I will recommend you to my friends and cousins, as I am sure of getting questions like: HOW DID YOU DO THIS?? 😅
Thank you again for everything, coach”

18 months after Shazia achieved her transformation, I met her in person & she said “ I used to think & worry about my weight all the time, that was no way to LIVE, Transform had been life changing for me, I don’t worry about my weight anymore…”
😍🤩👍
Happy Birthday to this gorgeous Transformette who’s also been our “Motivation Manager” and our “Top Meals Queen” 👸

“I spent the better part of my 30’s wondering why I had all of a sudden put on so much weight. From a skinny-scrawny teenager to a plump adult…where had I gone wrong?

And so I started on my own weight loss journey and all the “tamasha” that comes with it – took advice from anyone and everyone who offered it and drank magic potions of tea and shakes.
And to my glee – I lost weight, but in the process I used to be irritable, look haggard, had bad skin, hair and not feel anything like myself. 😞

I defended it all – after all I was thinner, right?
😏 Until I stopped and ate normally. Not only did I put back all the weight I had lost, I put on even MORE. All the yo-yo-ing made it only worse.

Enter Arpita of Mind and Body Personal Training 🥳
Around this time last year – I saw my friend Ashwini’s jaw-dropping transformation (40kgs lost!) and immediately reached out to her coach, Arpita, to know more about her “Transform” program >> https://bit.ly/MindandBodyPT

At first thought, she was “expensive” and I politely thanked her for the info, checked her public page on and off and kept waiting for her to slash her prices.

❤️ If you’re thinking of joining Arpita and have been going back and forth on this, I strongly suggest to you to look at this as an INVESTMENT and not an EXPENSE. 💰

Turning 40 and attaining my goals:
My family asked me what I wanted when I turned 40 and I said, “Please no jewellery or expensive gifts, I’d like a 3-month subscription on Transform!”.... which they did 😃
So I took the plunge! (& since then, continued for longer).

3 reasons why Transform has worked for me:

1) Exercise is Not an Option – for those that know me, I HATED exercise. I was willing to do anything but exercise. I was told from Day 1 that exercise is not negotiable. Moreover, Arpita has an awesome system that makes you WANT to workout 💪
I now do some form of exercise every day of the week. (& don’t hate it as much.. 🤣). Infact I continued with 1:1 PT sessions with Arpita.

2) Daily Accountability – You work with Arpita EVERY DAY to tell her what you have achieved in your health and wellness goals. It is not a ‘see me once a week or once a month program’.
When you have your coach checking everything you do each day, it really helps you to stay on track.

3) Transform is a community-based program. It’s like you are going back to school to unpack-learn-shine on your health goals. I’ve made some amazing friends, learnt so much from other Transformettes and enjoyed all aspects of working through my health and wellness journey.

If you ask me what Arpita does best – there’s no restriction in Transform. Meet her halfway and you’ll achieve your goals!

👏🏻👏🏻 I’ve lost 10.5 kgs & 64+ cms.
It feels awesome to get all the lovely compliments. But more than that, I feel I am a totally different person! 😍 I have more energy to go through the day without feeling completely drained out, I can keep up with my friends and family who like to do outdoor activities and I can think so much more clearly. 🥰

Finally, I’d like to say that Arpita has no magic wand – you will not be anointed as soon as you enter Transform. YOU have to do the work, YOU have to make the changes and YOU will reap the benefits!
In the end, it’s all worth it!”

A question I'd like YOU to answer...

Q: What will another year of putting your health off cost you?

We usually think about what investing in our health will cost - the money, time and energy.

But rarely do we calculate the cost of NOT doing Transform.

Another year of low energy? More joint pain? Another few kilos? Less muscle tone? Poor sleep? Libido tanking? Health markers moving in the wrong direction? Another year not feeling comfortable in your own skin?

Sometimes the more important question isn't “Can I afford to do this?” but “Can I afford to keep delaying?”

See that baby? That’s my youngest, Elvis, who turns into an adult today! Happy 18th 🎂❤️

As a mum, it’s one of the greatest joys to have a healthy, happy baby.

But I also remember how I felt at that time - overweight by 20+ kgs, stretch marks on my tummy & hips, cellulite at the back of my legs, “jelly belly”, and my thighs and arms were huge! 😯

In the Dubai heat, I was wearing full sleeves!

My confidence had taken a solid whack. I hated having my pics taken, felt fat and frumpy, unhappy and tired from the rigours of motherhood and, of course, from carrying an extra 20kgs.

And I have enormous compassion for post-natal mums. Your body has carried a human being. You’re sleep deprived, exhausted and suddenly everyone else’s needs seem to come before your own.

But at some point, I decided to do something about it.

Eat better. Exercise. Become a fit, healthy role model for my kids.

It’s something I hear women say ALL the time: “I want to be a healthy role model for my children.”

But wanting it and actually becoming it are two different things.

I did it.

❤️ After losing 23kgs, as I fit back into my favourite outfits and my confidence soared, I thought, “I feel so good in my Mind and Body… imagine if I could help other women feel the same way too.” 🤩

And that’s why I changed careers >> from an architect to a weight loss expert 16+ years ago - and have since achieved 18 professional qualifications in nutrition, fitness, sleep, recovery, stress management and health.

My boys have grown up watching exercise, nutritious food and looking after your health simply being a normal part of life.

That is one of the greatest gifts I could have given them.

So if you’re a mum who keeps saying, “I need to do something about myself, but now isn’t the right time…” please remember that your children are watching what you DO, not simply what you tell them.

But you can decide that looking after yourself matters too.

Looking back, giving birth to Elvis changed the trajectory of my career and all our lives. And on his 18th birthday, that feels particularly special. ❤️

And to every mum reading this - perhaps now really IS your time.

👌Happy Birthday Saloni, who achieved a spectacular transformation. ❤️

“I used to be “fit” and ate what I thought was healthy. I loved to run, hike & explore. However, in the past couple of years, life took over, the Boston winter finally broke my spirit to keep going to the gym, and a 3 hour daily work commute was enough to push my determination away.

My biggest weakness before I started Arpita “Transform” program was that I thought cardio and running was the way to lose weight. I had never tried strength training before nor picked up a weight at the gym. I continued gaining weight slowly, where I would buy a size up for pants or buy looser tops unconsciously.

Finally, I decided I need to make a change. I saw my best friend Upasana on Arpita’s program for 6 months and heard from her the positive changes that she had experienced and decided it was time for me to try it >> https://bit.ly/MindandBodyPT

The first couple of weeks were challenging since I was learning portion control (one of my biggest challenges) as well as thinking about the “3 Food Rules”.
I had headaches for a full 7 days which was a signal that my body was detoxing, but boy, did it feel good afterwards!! 😃🙌

Over time, I looked forward to the exercises I got from Arpita, paid attention to my portions, the “3 food rules” and the WEIGHT LOSS CAME AUTOMATICALLY.

>

Arpita’s DAILY accountability and inputs are a great way of changing your ‘bad’ habits in real time. It makes you stop and think before every meal - “What would Arpita say about this meal’?

The exercises that are designed incrementally over each round are genius and she helps bring out the strength you didn’t know you had.

I really appreciated all her constant feedback on meals and exercises as well as nutritional ideas that one gets from her client community’s “Top Meals” posts. Having a group of motivated people as your biggest cheerleaders on her program is highly beneficial.

Arpita is the expert- trust her, ask her questions and she will go out of her way to make you feel comfortable.

I am thankful for the knowledge of eating right, exercising right and the positivity obtained from Arpita’s program. I daresay, I will be back 😊”

😂 One of my favourite coaching cues…

“Hungry butt!”

No, I’m not talking about food. 🍑

I’m talking about getting your glutes to switch on properly.

After nearly 15,000 1:1 PT sessions, I’ve learnt that people don’t remember complicated anatomy lectures. They remember simple, fun cues that instantly improve their technique.

So instead of saying, “Engage your posterior chain,” I’ll say…

“Pretend your bum is hungry and it’s trying to eat your undies!” 😂

Instantly, they get it.

Great coaching isn’t about using big words to sound smart. It’s about communicating in a way that helps someone move better, feel stronger and avoid injury.

That’s why I still love PT after all these years. Every client is different, every body moves differently, and I genuinely enjoy finding the cue that makes everything click.

Most of you who have followed me for a while know Georgette.

She is our Mauritian street dog who wandered into our lives as a skinny six-month-old puppy, followed us across four continents, and ultimately changed where our entire family lived because we refused to leave her behind. So yes, it is fair to say this dog is VERY loved. ❤️

On 1 December 2025, Georgette weighed 15.5kg. Her ideal adult weight is approximately 15kg, so she was pretty much exactly where she needed to be.

Then she had dental surgery and a few rotten teeth extracted.

For a few weeks she couldn't eat her normal kibble, so we switched her to soft canned food. Unfortunately for us, Miss Georgette discovered that canned food tastes considerably better than dry biscuits. 😂

Even after she recovered, she wasn't terribly interested in going back to her old food. She wanted the good stuff. And then she wanted MORE of the good stuff. If we didn't remember, trust me, she reminded us!

Of course, being the suckers that we are, we obliged.

There were the usual treats too. A little pasta and cheese. Rice with ghee. A pizza slice. Some paneer. Our neighbour would bring over a sausage for her. None of it seemed like a big deal because each individual thing was small and, after all, food is one of the ways we show love.

Meanwhile, we noticed Georgette becoming a little chubbier. The kids jokingly called her "Chubster" and "Fatty".

I noticed she was taking the stairs more slowly. Her limp seemed worse at times. She was sleeping more and wasn't as enthusiastic about chasing cars on the street anymore.

For the past 8 months, we rationalised all of it.

She's getting older.

It's winter.

We're doing fewer long beach walks.

She has arthritis (we found out 12 months ago).

Then last month I took her to the vet and had to put her on the weighing scales.

18kg. 😳

She had gone from around 15kg to 18kg.

That doesn't sound dramatic when you're thinking in human kilograms, but that's roughly a 20% increase in her body weight.

Imagine being 60kg and gaining 12kg.

Or being 75kg and gaining 15kg.

The vet was quite firm with me. Georgette already has arthritis, so carrying that additional weight means more load through already uncomfortable joints. More discomfort makes her less inclined to move, less movement reduces her energy expenditure, and gradually you create a vicious cycle of weight gain → more joint discomfort → less movement → further weight gain.

Then came the vet's instructions. 🫣

Cut her current food by 25% immediately.

Her goal is to gradually get back towards 15kg by December 2026.

As a pet mom, I was ashamed that we had been enablers.... Suddenly we weren't laughing about my little "Chubster" anymore realising the joint pain she must be inadvertently suffering as a result of the weight gain.

As a nutrition and weight-loss coach, I was slightly embarrassed because I help the whole world lose weight and reverse their joint pains and yet did not make the connection for my own fur baby!

It is fascinating how complicated we humans have managed to make weight loss?

Detoxes. Supplements. Fat burners. Fasting protocols. Cutting carbohydrates. Hormone hacks. Metabolism boosters.

Yet the fundamental principle hasn't changed.

To lose stored body fat, over time you need to consume less calories than you expend.

That doesn't mean I tell my human clients to simply slash 25% off everything they eat. Human nutrition is obviously far more nuanced. I care enormously about protein, fibre, vegetables, fruit, micronutrients, muscle mass, strength training, sleep, stress and the QUALITY of the calories being consumed.

But most of us could benefit enormously from simply looking honestly at how much we eat.

Our modern environment makes it incredibly easy to consume hundreds of calories that contribute very little nutritionally. A handful here, a treat there, takeaway, dessert, Coke, grazing while cooking, giving in to cravings during PMS, a second glass of wine at a party… none seems particularly significant in isolation.

Just like Georgette's little extras didn't.

Until they added up.

And there's another lesson here that hit me even harder.

Giving someone (or ourselves) more food isn't an act of love.

We thought we were making Georgette happy. She certainly thought we were making her happy! 😂

But if those extra portions contribute to excess weight that makes her arthritic joints hurt MORE, are we actually helping her?

❌ Sometimes love means saying no. Including to yourself.

So Georgette's portions have now been reduced by around 30%, the almost-daily treats have become 1 x week treat, and we're more committed to taking her to the beach.

No crash diet.

No punishment.

No ridiculous restriction.

Just less treats, smaller portions, regular movement and consistency.

Exactly the boring stuff that works for humans too.

Now that I have shared this publicly, I am committed and accountable socially. Which is a good thing.

I'll keep you updated on Georgette's journey back from 18kg → 15kg. Perhaps my little Mauritian rescue dog is about to become my newest Transformette. 😂❤️

Ps: If you're reading this thinking, "Actually Arpita, I've put on my own equivalent of Georgette's 20% and I know exactly how all those little extras got there…”

Perhaps it's time we had a conversation.

Pps:. Georgette would like it formally recorded that she strongly disagrees with the vet's assessment and believes canned food portions & treats should actually be increased. 🐶
