🥣 Convenience v Conscious Choices
👩🍳 Are the cooler days tempting your taste buds?
🍵For me personally I’ve always loved baking, cooking & nurturing my families wellbeing, so it’s mostly 😉 conscious choices for me, but I am aware this can be a harder choice for others.
😳When it comes to supporting our health and wellbeing, not all food choices are created equal.
🙄 Many grocery store bought products are designed for convenience often containing highly processed ingredients & ingredients that provide little nutritional value beyond a quick energy hit.
🍫Along with clever words & smart packaging that are mostly just good marketing to get you to buy their product.
🤷🏻♀️So do we choose convenience or make a conscious choice?
🍪While making that home made treat you get to choose the ingredients & know exactly what’s gone into making it.
🛒Sure, it’s not as convenient, but by buying the ingredients, it can healthier, financially a way better choice for the pocket & it can become a great way to get your children involved, learning measurements & opening the door for communication & connection.
🥣 Holistic wellbeing isn’t about perfection or never enjoying convenience foods. It’s about making conscious choices more often, choosing foods that nourish your body, support your energy, & leave you feeling good long after you’ve eaten them.
🥰 Sometimes the most loving thing we can do for ourselves is swap “quick & easy” for “made with intention.”
