๐Ÿ’›R U OK? Day ๐Ÿ’›
At The Benevolent Society, we know that a simple conversation can make a big difference. ๐Ÿ’ฌโœจ

This R U OK? Day, our team is sharing the ways they check in with family, friends, colleagues, and community members. Whether it's making a phone call โ˜Ž๏ธ, grabbing a coffee โ˜•, sending a quick message ๐Ÿ“ฑ, or taking the time to truly listen ๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿ’š, these small acts of connection can have a lasting impact.

Checking in doesn't have to be perfect. What matters is making the time to ask, listen, and show someone they are valued and supported. ๐Ÿค

Today, and every day, let's look out for one another and help create a culture where people feel safe to talk about life's ups and downs. ๐Ÿ’™

A conversation could change a life. Start with a simple question: "Are you OK?"

๐Ÿ’œ Wear It Purple Day ๐Ÿ’œ

Wear It Purple was founded in 2010 following heartbreaking stories that highlighted the devastating impact of bullying, discrimination, and exclusion on LGBTQIA+SB young people.

While progress has been made, many young people still face bullying, isolation, and a lack of support โ€” feeling unsafe at school, unsupported at home, or invisible in their communities.

This day is about raising awareness and standing together to show that every young person deserves:
โœจ Safety
โœจ Acceptance
โœจ Belonging
โœจ Celebration

Wear It Purple continues because representation, connection, and inclusion matter โ€” and because every young person deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered
