Love can be honest.
Love can have boundaries.
Love can say "no" with kindness.

One of the most loving things you can do is honour what is true for you, while allowing others to have their own feelings about it.
Their disappointment is theirs to navigate.

Just as your choices are yours to make.

Maybe you delay a decision, keep changing something, hold back an idea, or criticise yourself for getting it wrong.

When you notice the pattern, pause and ask:
“What would I do if I wasn’t trying to prove that I was enough?”

Rejection can hurt, but it does not define your worth. Sometimes a closed door is simply showing us that a person, opportunity, or path is not aligned with where we are going. Allow yourself to feel the disappointment, but don’t let it become a story about who you are. When something doesn’t choose you, choose yourself.
