Did you know your child can receive support from the NDIS even if they are not a participant?

Parenthood is a wonderful and fulfilling experience, full of moments of joy as we watch our children grow and develop. However, if children are not meeting developmental milestones, it can add some challenges. That's where the Early Childhood Approach under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) can help, offering tailored support for young children.

Formerly known as the "Early Childhood Early Intervention" (ECEI), the program is now called the "Early Childhood Approach." It is designed to assist young children with developmental concerns, delays, or disabilities. These children can benefit from the help of an Early Childhood Partner, a community-based organization appointed by the government.

Please share this information with parents who might find this program useful. For more details, visit the NDIS website or contact our friendly admin team to receive the information

"We all know parents' love for children is unconditional. Yet, we often overlook the fact that children also love and trust their parents unconditionally. They are of the kindest, most patient, and most forgiving people in our lives.

Sometimes, all they need is genuine acknowledgment or a heartfelt apology from us. These small gestures can go a long way in and beyond our precious journey with them.

As a child psychologist, witnessing these beautiful moments of connection is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I would love to see more of these heartwarming and healing moments between parents and children." - Van Pham

"For young Asian Australian le****ns, g**s and bisexuals (LGBs), the coming-out journey is even more intricate. We have to navigate between our parents' collectivistic cultural values and the individualistic Australian culture. This balancing act, along with the complexities of gender identity, shapes coming out into a challenging, ever-evolving, lifelong journey."
