To the mothers, the mother figures, the pregnant women growing new life, the women longing to become mothers, the exhausted mothers in the thick of it, and the ones carrying invisible stories quietly in their hearts — today we honour you. 🤍

Motherhood can be beautiful, stretching, messy, grounding and transformative all at once.health we feel privileged to witness women through so many of these moments - pregnancy, birth, recovery, change, identity shifts, and everything in between.

This photo holds a special piece of my own motherhood story - growing Teddy while my girls loved him long before he arrived. A reminder that care, connection and family begin long before birth itself.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Anara Health. 🤍

A reminder from being here…

Not everything that matters can be measured.
And not everything measurable reflects what’s really going on in the body.

There’s space for both science and intuition

Stepping away to come back better.

A few days in Bali to slow down, reconnect, and create space — something I ask of the women I work with every day.

As clinicians, we can only hold others as well as we are resourced ourselves.

I know getting away like this isn’t easy or accessible for everyone — it takes support, time, and a lot of moving parts.

But even small moments of pause matter.
Healing can’t be rushed. It needs time, safety, and space

Two little moments… that explain a lot about birth 🤍

First — watch my son getting his head through his shirt 😅
👉 when his chin is tucked and the back of his head leads, it slides through easily
👉 when it’s not, it’s instantly harder

Then — the final puzzle piece 🧩
👉 it almost fits… until everything lines up just right
👉 and then, without force, it clicks into place

Birth works in a very similar way.

It’s not just about baby moving down — it’s about shape + alignment.

When a baby is well flexed (chin tucked), the posterior fontanelle leads, creating the most efficient shape to move through the pelvis.

And as labour progresses, it’s those subtle rotations and shifts that allow baby to find the position where everything fits — like that final puzzle piece.

Sometimes it’s not big interventions that change things…
it’s small changes in alignment that make the biggest difference.

This is why the internal pelvic release and pelvic balancing work I do can be so powerful in birth prep - creating the space and conditions for baby to find their easiest way through.

Because birth often works best when nothing is forced… just supported 🤍

Pregnancy invites you into a deeper relationship with your body - and your pelvis is a big part of that.

In my sessions, I offer internal pelvic release work (always with full consent and guided gently at your pace).

Sessions are 2 hours, allowing time to truly build trust, hear your story, and move at a pace where your body can actually soften - not rush.

This work can help you:
• build awareness of your pelvic space
• soften areas of holding or resistance
• connect with your body in a way that supports birth

This work isn’t about “fixing” anything.
It’s about learning what your body feels like when it lets go.

For many women, this becomes a powerful piece of birth preparation - especially if there’s been:
• pelvic tension or pain
• previous birth experiences
• fear, guarding, or disconnection in the body

We explore what your version of “softening” feels like - so when the time comes, your body already knows the pathway.

Internal work is always optional, trauma-aware, and led by you.
Consent is checked throughout, and nothing is ever rushed.

Because birth isn’t just physical - it’s deeply somatic.
And feeling safe in your body matters.

You don’t always need to “strengthen” your pelvic floor.

For many women, the missing piece is learning how to release.

Internal pelvic work is a way to assess and treat deeper muscle patterns that are often contributing to pain and dysfunction.
