Perimenopause teaches us that we can’t always control our hormones, but we can learn to create moments of calm within the chaos.
Perimenopause isn’t just about hot flushes or irregular periods. For many women, it can bring anxiety, overwhelm, poor sleep, brain fog, mood changes, and a nervous system that feels like it’s constantly on high alert.
While we can’t stop the hormonal shifts from happening, we can support our bodies through them.
✨ Prioritise sleep where you can.
✨ Move your body in a way that feels good.
✨ Nourish yourself with wholesome food.
✨ Spend time outdoors.
✨ Set boundaries that protect your energy.
✨ Practise deep breathing, prayer, meditation, or quiet moments of stillness.
✨ Remember that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
These small, consistent acts of self-care won’t make perimenopause disappear, but they can help your body feel safer, calmer, and more resilient through the transition.
If you’re navigating perimenopause, know that you’re not alone. This season can feel overwhelming, but with the right support and understanding, you can move through it with confidence and compassion.
