My winter newsletter is out tonight✨

This edition wanders through grief, ritual, stars and the night sky — inspired in part by the luminous work above of and her words:

“The night is a thick blanket with puncture wounds…”

A reflection on death and the ways we search the dark for meaning, memory and home.

If you’d like to receive it, you can sign up via the link in my bio.

It’s never too early to get your end-of-life wishes in order.
Doing so can really support the people around you in caring for you when it matters most.

❤️ being an independent funeral celebrant means I’m not attached to any one funeral home.

❤️ therefore I can refer clients to different funeral homes for body care and transportation based on their values, circumstances and finances

♥️ I can spend more uninterrupted time with a family in their grief and bereavement as I work for myself and what I set as a standard of care.

❤️ I’m never trying to upsell items or services to meet a quota.

♥️ I can have a sliding scale for accessibility for folks with low income or from marginalized communities.

❤️ for a memorial you don’t need a funeral home. Possibly not even a celebrant. But I can provide advice, support and consultation.

Pudding Day: A recipe for holiday grieving.

A post around holiday grieving and my families tradition of honoring those we’ve lost by ‘stirring in the love’ each pudding day.

♥️ I’d love to hear about any holiday rituals you do for those who’ve died? Please comment below or D.M me.
