Burnout rarely arrives all at once.
It's usually a slow drift.
You start saying yes to a little too much.
You push through being tired.
You tell yourself you'll rest when things calm down.
But things don't calm down.
The to-do list keeps growing.
The expectations keep piling up.
And somehow you become the person everyone relies on — including yourself.
Then one day, the things you used to handle easily feel overwhelming.
You're exhausted, but can't switch off.
You're running on empty, but keep pushing anyway.
You're doing all the things, yet feeling disconnected from yourself.
For so many women, burnout isn't caused by a lack of resilience.
It's caused by carrying too much for too long without enough support, recovery, or space to simply be.
Burnout isn't a sign that you're weak.
It's often a sign that you've been strong for longer than your mind and body can sustain.
The answer isn't always to work harder, become more efficient, or squeeze more into your day.
Sometimes the answer is to do less.
To ask for help.
To set boundaries.
To rest before you reach breaking point.
Because your wellbeing isn't something to sacrifice in the pursuit of getting everything done.
You matter too.
And the healthiest version of success is one that doesn't cost you your peace.
