There’s something I’ve never really shared about the heart behind Charlie and Me Handcrafted Sensory Tubs.

Many of you know how much I love working with children and creating sensory play. I truly believe sensory experiences can help children learn, regulate emotions, build confidence, and simply enjoy being little. If I can make a difference in just one child’s life, then everything I do is worth it.

But there’s a much deeper reason this business exists.

When my soulmate, Matthew, passed away, our beautiful son Charlie was just about to turn three. Our world changed forever.

I’m a spiritual person, and I believe there are reasons behind the paths we’re given. When I created my business, I called it Charlie and Me. To most people, that’s exactly what it is—a mum and her son.

But there’s a hidden piece of my heart within my logo.

The initials are C & M.

Most people think the “M” stands for Me. But to me, it has always meant Matthew.

Charlie and Matthew.

Together, they are my whole world.

The feather in my logo is there for a reason too. It represents spirit. It represents Matt. Even though he isn’t physically here, he’s still part of every step I take, every sensory tub I create, and every dream I’m building.

So while my business is called Charlie and Me, in my heart it has always been Charlie and Matthew… and that equals me.

This business was built from love, loss, hope, and purpose. It’s my way of creating something beautiful from the hardest chapter of my life, while helping children discover, learn, and grow through play.
