📢 **Mid-Year Update – Remedial by Damian**

Damian and the family will be taking a short break over the school holidays. The clinic will reopen, with appointments resuming from **Monday, 6th July**.

As we enter the new financial year, there will also be a small price increase effective **1st July**. Updated pricing will be available through the online booking system when making a booking.

Thank you all for your continued support. It is genuinely appreciated, and I look forward to seeing you all again soon!

End of Year Update from Remedial by Damian

Hello everyone,

As we wrap up an incredible year, I have some exciting personal news to share—my partner and I are expecting a baby boy very soon! To support my partner and spend quality time with our little one, I'll be taking paternity leave starting Thursdays, November 21st, and returning to work on Monday, January 20th.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all my wonderful clients for your continued support and trust this year. It's been a pleasure helping each of you on your wellness journey, and I look forward to reconnecting in the New Year!

For those interested, there is a possibility I may open up a few spots for appointments during the week of December 16th-20th. If that happens, I'll be sure to update you here on Facebook.

🌿 Important Business Update from Remedial by Damian 🌿

Dear valued clients,

I want to take a moment to inform you of some changes happening at Remedial by Damian;

Massage Rate Adjustment: Due to tax obligations, I'll need to start charging GST which means a 10% increase in massage rates. However, I'll be honoring the current rate for clients with existing bookings. Please note that the new rate will apply for all new bookings made. Cash rates will also be available for clients not requiring private health rebate or if your limit has been reached for the year.

Enhanced Booking Reminders: To better serve you and minimise disruptions, I've increased the frequency of automated text and email reminders for appointments. This change comes in response to an increase in last-minute cancellations and clients forgetting their appointments.

Cancellation Policy Update: With the more frequent reminders, I'll need to be more strict on our cancellation policy. Please be advised that a full-price cancellation fee will be charged for appointments canceled without 24 hours notice prior, or no-shows.

Your comfort and satisfaction with pain relief remain my top priority, and I appreciate your understanding and continued support during these adjustments.

As the year comes to a close, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your unwavering support over the past year. Your understanding and flexibility have meant a lot, especially considering the challenges of scheduling between Emerald and Rockhampton.

📅 Holiday Trading Hours:

- Last week of trade: 18th - 22nd December
(Currently fully booked, but keep reading!)
- Recommencing business: 9th January

📍 Business Update:
After careful consideration and with a focus on stability, I will no longer be operating in Rockhampton starting from the new year. The business will continue to thrive in Emerald.

I understand the difficulties some clients face, especially those working on shift rosters. Your flexibility has been invaluable, and I'm committed to being more available next year to better accommodate the needs of the Emerald community.

🌟 Exciting News:
I'm thrilled to share that my partner, Emma, will be joining the Denison State School as a teacher next year, bringing us closer together.

Here are a few things you can do to help make the most of your massage:

✨️Drink plenty of water to help hydrate your muscles and assist in muscle recovery

✨️Take it easy for the rest of the day and avoid any strenuous physical activity for at least 24 hours.

✨️If you're feeling a little sore, try incorporating some gentle stretching into your day to help ease any tension.

✨️If you have any ongoing pain or discomfort, consider scheduling another massage session. (Check out my post on massage frequency)

✨️Be mindful of your posture and work on maintaining good alignment to avoid undoing the benefits of the massage.

✨️Follow specific instructions or recommendations, and be sure to follow them to help optimize the benefits of the massage.
