Meet Kiara: Kiara graduated from Macquarie University in 2017, moved up to the Central Coast from Sydney and began work at Champion Chiropractic Centre in 2018.

She has since started a family of her own, now having two young boys, further growing her passion of caring for babies and children to grow happy, healthy and thriving families from day one.

Kiara has been raised herself in a family of Chiropractors, with a holistic view of health engrained from early years. Finding the root cause of problems and working to solve them in their entirety has thus become an integral part of the way she treats all patients.

Meet Scott: Four years into his chiropractic career, Scott moved to the Central Coast and opened Champion Chiropractic Centre in 1993.

Scott has been a Diplomate in the Gonstead System of Chiropractic since 1998. He served as a board member of the Gonstead Chiropractic Society (Australia) for eight years, including four as secretary. In 2024 Scott attained teaching Fellow status within GCS Australia. Scott’s true passion is for helping patients, which has only got stronger each year, making every day at work rewarding.

It’s week 3 of Spinal Health Month, and we are shining a spotlight on Women and Families, and the far-reaching impact back pain can have on daily life, mental wellbeing and family responsibilities.

For many women, balancing work, family and caring responsibilities, back pain doesn’t just affect the body – it can add to the mental load, impacting stress, energy and overall wellbeing. In fact new back pain impact data reveals that 87% of Australian women experienced back pain in the past year, with

46% reporting a moderate to extreme impact on their mental health

80% saying their quality of life was affected, with 29% impacted often or always

53% saying back pain adds to their mental load

21% reported difficulty concentrating
