💰 Flexibility of the Consumables Budget
🟢 Your Core – Consumables budget is flexible
You can usually: • Buy Low Cost Assistive Technology (AT)
• Spend up to $1,500 per item
• Buy items without extra reports or assessments if the item:
• Is disability-related
• Is low risk
• Is not funded by another system (like Medicare, health or education)

🛡️ What does Low Risk mean?
Low cost AT and consumables are usually low risk because:
✔️ They are safe to use at home
