Please join me in welcoming Kalli Brown from Duck Duck Goose Therapy to join our Therapeutic Community!

Kalli is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, masters-trained Play Therapist and advanced Level Behaviour Support Practitioner who brings a calm, creative, and grounded therapeutic presence to her work with children, young people, adults and families.

Kalli is passionate about creating safe, engaging and meaningful therapeutic spaces where clients feel understood, supported and empowered to grow.

Kalli has specialised training in;
-the Jungian sandplay therapy,
- Humanistic play therapy,
-Filial therapy,
-Learn to Play
-Family therapy approaches,
-Trauma-informed practice,
-Attachment -focused work,
-Strength-based approaches,
-CBT strategies,
-DBT,
-ACT,
-Positive behaviour support frameworks.

Kalli applies her specialist modalities to support emotional regulation, trauma processing, identity development, attachment repair and deeper self-understanding in a developmentally safe way.
 
Kalli’s broad professional experience across the Child & Family Services, Disability and Mental Health sectors has provided her with a strong understanding of complex presentations and the ability to tailor interventions to the unique strengths, needs and goals for individuals across all ages.

Kalli supports clients working through challenges relating to emotional dysregulation, aggressive behaviours, trauma, disrupted attachment, neurodevelopmental differences, intellectual disability, anxiety, social-emotional development, family stress, and behavioural concerns. Kalli values connection, curiosity, and collaboration in therapy.

Kalli’s service offering includes;
- Therapeutic Support
- GP Mental Health Care Plan as an AMHSW (Medicare rebates available)
- Sandplay Therapy
- Specialist Behaviour Support
- Flexible Support Packages for early learning centres and kindergartens

I had so much fun yesterday sharing at the Carers event put on by the Carer Gateway, Holstep Health and Barwon Health! Please join me in welcoming Alison Turner from to our Therapeutic Community! Cocoon & Bloom Counselling offers a warm and supportive space for individuals seeking to better understand themselves and navigate life’s challenges.

Alison is a counsellor who works from a person centered and holistic perspective, valuing connection and the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful change. With a compassionate and grounded approach, shaped by her experience in education, training & assessing and beauty therapy, she supports clients to explore their experiences, build insight and move towards growth, in a way that feels safe and empowering. Alison has a particular interest in youth mentoring, women’s wellbeing, and supporting individuals through grief and loss, including infant and child loss.

Alison is also the new lead facilitator of the ever popular GLOW program. A small group program supporting young female identifiers to build their identity, relationships and confidence through hair, beauty (skin care) and therapeutic support. Next program will be advertised very soon!
