At Sensory Stuff Support Services, we’re proud to make monthly donations to CareFlight Australia. ❤️🚁

CareFlight provides lifesaving emergency rescue, aeromedical transport, and critical care to Australians when every second counts. By supporting their incredible work each month, we’re helping make a difference beyond the communities we serve.

Every month, we make a donation to the Heart Foundation ❤️

This one’s personal. We’ve had people close to us affected by heart attacks, and heart disease still claims a life in Australia every 18 minutes. If you’re reading this and it hits close to home too, you’re not alone. This is more common than people realise.

It’s why we give a little back every month. Because the people we support, and the people we love, deserve a community that shows up for them.

Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference. From folding laundry and tidying up to helping keep your home running smoothly, our support workers are here to take some of the pressure off and give you more time and energy for the things that matter most. 💜

Because everyone deserves a helping hand from time to time.

To the carers 🤍

The ones who juggle appointments, advocate fiercely, celebrate the little wins, and carry more than most people will ever see.

We see you.

We see the exhaustion behind the smile, the love behind every sacrifice, and the strength it takes to keep going when the load feels heavy.

At Sensory Stuff support services, we see the dedication behind the scenes and the difference you make in the lives of those you care for.

Tag a carer who deserves a reminder that they’re doing an amazing job. 🫶🏻

✨ GET TO KNOW US ✨

NAME: Allie

ROLE: Support worker

Question: Why did you want to become a support worker?

I wanted to become a support worker so I could improve individuals quality of life by encouraging increased community access and supporting activities or daily living.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time I enjoy running, spending time with my four children and the rare concerts with friends.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?

If I could have a super power it would be to time travel back in time to make wiser choices and to also travel to the future to ensure I am on the right track.

Allie is a support worker and a qualified nurse, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. If Allie is someone that you might like to support you, head to our website www.sensorystuffsupportservices.com to get in touch now.

We’re excited to be supporting one of our local netball clubs, the Corio Netball Club this season. Community, connection, and creating opportunities for people to get involved, stay active, and build confidence are important to us, and we’re proud to play a small part in helping local sport thrive.

Wishing the players, coaches, and families a successful and enjoyable season ahead. ❤️ 🤍

Recently, one of our participants headed off on a supported getaway to Phillip Island to see the famous Penguin Parade. Watching the little penguins make their way up the beach at sunset was something they’d been wanting to do for a while and it definitely didn’t disappoint. 🐧 🌊

From the fresh ocean air to exploring somewhere new and building confidence away from home, it was such a meaningful trip all round.

We love being able to support our participants to step outside their routine, try new things, and create memories that stick.

So if you or someone you know are looking for a supported adventure reach out to us now!
