🎬🎥 LIGHTS, CAMERA... ACTION! 🎥🎬

Our No Limits Geelong Filmmaking Group had an unforgettable experience on Sunday, heading up to Melbourne to be part of a professional film shoot!

Our director's production company, Boom Jellyfish Productions, was filming the pilot for a brand-new sitcom, Highs and Lows... and our participants were right in the middle of the action.

⭐ Shannon, Bobby, Ben and Aimee all appeared on screen as extras, starring alongside the incredibly talented Blake Johnston and getting a real taste of what it's like to work on a professional film set.

📸 Meanwhile, Aiden took on the role of official set photographer, capturing the day through his lens. His work was so impressive that he's already been offered the opportunity to photograph future productions - a fantastic achievement and a testament to how far he's come!

Experiences like this are exactly what our filmmaking program is all about: giving participants genuine opportunities to work on real productions, build industry skills and discover talents they may never have realised they had.

🎬 And there's never been a better time to get involved! We currently have two exciting productions underway:

🏴‍☠️ Treasure Cove – our brand-new pirate adventure series.

🎥 The sequel to Bring Me Number 9 – with another exciting community story on the horizon.

If you've ever wanted to learn about acting, filmmaking, directing, camera operation or editing, we'd love to welcome you to the team!

🎙️ EPISODE 12 OF THE NO LIMITS DISABILITY HOUR IS NOW LIVE! 💙📻

Another Monday, another fantastic show on 94.7 The Pulse, packed with great discussions, plenty of laughs and an incredible special guest!

In our Living With Disability segment, we tackled the topic of Companion Cards... with our team sharing their personal experiences, why they're so important and some of the challenges they've faced when trying to access tickets for events and attractions.

We also wrapped up another big weekend of All Abilities sport, bringing you the latest scores and highlights from around the region.

Of course... things got a little chaotic in the studio! 😂 After host Luke made one too many mistakes, Jake decided enough was enough and took over the hosting chair! Safe to say the show was in good hands from there...

We were also thrilled to welcome the incredibly talented Luke Biscan to the studio. Luke spoke about his upcoming album, due for release in November, his love of live music, and why he enjoys volunteering his time to help our very own Limitless band continue to grow.

A huge thank you to Luke for joining us and sharing his story.

If you missed the show, don't forget to tune in every Monday at 5:00pm on 94.7 The Pulse, where our participants lead the conversations, interview inspiring guests and share what life with disability is really like.

💙 Another great show… and we can't wait to do it all again next week!

🐾❤️ OUR CONTENT CREATION TEAM MET SOME VERY SPECIAL PEOPLE RECENTLY... ❤️🐾

Our crew visited the incredible Don't Forget My Pet Foundation, a local charity doing life-changing work for people facing some of the toughest moments of their lives.

🎤 Holly sat down with founder Alysha McKenzie, who explained how the charity helps people keep the special bond they share with their pets. Whether it's illness, homelessness, domestic violence or another unexpected crisis, Don't Forget My Pet steps in to provide temporary care, ensuring families don't have to say goodbye to their beloved companions when they need them most.

We also had the privilege of speaking with Daniel, who shared his powerful story. After a devastating fire destroyed the flat next door to his, he found himself homeless for months through no fault of his own. During that incredibly difficult time, Alysha and her team found a safe home for his three cats, giving Daniel one less thing to worry about while he got back on his feet.

Stories like Daniel's remind us just how important this charity is to our community!

A huge thank you to Alysha, Daniel and everyone at Don't Forget My Pet for welcoming us and allowing us to help tell your story.

🐶 They also have their Gala Ball coming up in October - and our very own Limitless band is thrilled to be performing on the night!

If you're looking for a wonderful cause to support, we'd love to encourage you to get behind this amazing organisation.

🏅🏃‍♂️ OUR CONTENT CREATION TEAM HIT THE GEELONG WATERFRONT! 🎥

This week, our Content Creation crew had the opportunity to meet with Australian marathon legend Lee Troop at the beautiful Geelong Waterfront to help promote this year's Geelong Running Festival.

The focus of our shoot was the Nathan Deakes Medal - a special medal that will be awarded to children and participants in the All-Abilities events - celebrating determination, participation and achievement!

🎤 Our team had a fantastic time interviewing Lee and Mick King, learning more about the festival and helping spread the word about this wonderful initiative that encourages people of all abilities and volunteers to get involved.

A huge thank you to Lee Troop and the Geelong Running Festival team for welcoming us once again and for continuing to champion inclusion in our community.

☕🎥 OUR CONTENT CREATION TEAM WAS ON THE SCENE AT ALFIE'S CAFÉ! 🎥☕

Recently our Content Creation team visited Alfie's Café at Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre to discover why it's become such a popular spot with locals.

🎤 Holly sat down with Tiffany, the café's manager, to find out what makes Alfies so special, while Trevor caught up with Aly, a regular customer, to hear firsthand why she keeps coming back.
Of course, no visit would be complete without sampling the delicious food and coffee ourselves - and we weren't disappointed! 😋☕

Behind the scenes, Ben and Kyal did a fantastic job operating the camera and sound, capturing all the action like the professionals they are.

A huge thank you to Tiffany and the team at Alfie's Café for making us feel so welcome. We loved getting to know your business and can't wait to share the finished video with everyone!

✨🐾 WE'RE HEADING TO THE GALA BALL! 🎶💙

We are incredibly excited to announce that Limitless – Geelong's premier all-abilities band has been invited to perform at the Don't Forget My Pet Gala Ball this October! 🥳

This special evening raises awareness and support for an amazing cause, and we are absolutely honoured to be part of it. Our musicians can't wait to hit the stage and share an evening of live music, fun and celebration with everyone attending.

Opportunities like this mean so much to our performers. They provide a chance to showcase their incredible talents, build confidence, and demonstrate that people of all abilities deserve to perform on some of our community's biggest stages.

A huge thank you to the team at Don't Forget My Pet for inviting us to be part of such a wonderful event. We can't wait to see you all in October!

🎶 Bring on the Gala Ball!

🎤 LIMITLESS is taking the stage at our 2026 Don't Forget My Pet Gala — and we could not be more excited.

Limitless is the music group of No Limits Geelong, a local disability support service that's rewriting what support looks like — trading the clinical for the creative, and giving people real-world experience, community connection, and a stage to shine on.

More than just a band, Limitless is proof that music has the power to break down barriers and showcase the incredible abilities of every performer. Every note is confidence built, a friendship formed, a barrier broken down.

They're a natural fit for our night. At Don't Forget My Pet, we support people of all abilities to keep the pets they love — because illness, disability, and hardship should never mean giving up your best friend.

Limitless shows what community looks like when everyone gets a place to belong, and that's exactly what we're building here too. 💖🐾

📅 16 October, 7–11pm
📍 Mt Duneed Estate
🍽️ Sit-down meal, drinks, entertainment & prizes included

Come see Limitless light up the room — and celebrate a community built on belonging.

🎂🎉 DOUBLE THE BIRTHDAYS, DOUBLE THE CELEBRATION!

This week we had not one, but two very special birthdays to celebrate at No Limits Geelong!

🎶 Jaxon was surprised with a birthday cake during our Limitless music program, while Eina celebrated with another delicious cake at Musical Theatre!

Happy Birthday, Jaxon and Eina! 🥳 We hope you both had an amazing day and enjoyed celebrating with your No Limits family.

🎶💙 LIMITLESS IS GOING FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH!

What another wonderful afternoon for Geelong's premier all-abilities band, Limitless... performing once again for the incredible residents at Wallace Lodge.

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing residents singing along, clapping, dancing and sharing so many smiles. Music truly has a way of bringing people together, and we're so grateful to be able to brighten people's day through our performances.

We're also incredibly excited to share that our performance calendar is now fully booked right through until Christmas! 🎉

Thank you to all of the aged care facilities and organisations who continue to support our musicians and believe in what we do.
Last week, after performing at Blakiston Lodge, we received this beautiful message:

"Your music brought such joy, warmth and energy to our residents... many joined in singing, some even got up to dance, and smiles and laughter filled the whole session. You really touched their hearts... Thank you for sharing your talent, your kindness and your beautiful music with us. You truly make a difference."

Messages like this remind us why we do what we do. ❤️

To every member of Limitless - you should be incredibly proud of the joy you're bringing to our community.

👀 And finally... we've got some BIG news about our music program to announce tomorrow! Stay tuned... you won't want to miss this one!

🎙️ THIS WEEK ON THE NO LIMITS DISABILITY HOUR... 💙📻

It was another fantastic show on 94.7 The Pulse, with our team tackling an important topic that affects so many people living with disability - social media.

Our presenters shared their own experiences and thoughts on:

💬 How comments can easily be misunderstood online.
🚫 The impact of cyberbullying.
⚠️ Staying safe from Facebook Messenger scams.
🤖 AI, misinformation and the spread of negative content online.

We also wrapped up another big weekend of sport, with updates from the netball, basketball and All Abilities football competitions - including a great story about St Joseph's and Newtown coming together for a fun-filled, sportsmanlike match.

Our special guest this week was Kaleb Powell, who joined us to chat about his journey in wheelchair football, his love of the Bombers, his favourite music, and whether he thinks wheelchair footy will one day be available at every AFL club! Of course, we couldn't let him leave without a few fun questions - including whether wedding bells might be on the horizon for him and our own Holly! 😄

A huge thank you to Kaleb for being such a great sport and sharing his story with our listeners.

Don't forget - you can catch The No Limits Disability Hour every Monday at 5:00pm on 94.7 The Pulse, where our participants discuss the issues that matter to them, celebrate local achievements and interview inspiring guests from our community.
