Would you believe the captain ordered a diet onboard mere days ago?
With needing to head south 🥺🤮😥 we are preparing our "bashing into snacks". During brainstorming the captain suggested.... Brownies.
So, faster than lightspeed before he changes his mind, I have made a batch of underway brownies. And tested to make sure it's not a bad batch.

So when you need a builder to hurry up, they don't. But ours are flying.
Unfortunately we are not flying. We are sailing. And we need to sail south for handover. So.
The "plan" to go to Lizard is out. We are going to start moving with weather windows.
The whole year has been a write off.
Maybe we'll get lucky with nice day or two heading south.
And after all this we need to sell the house. Maybe after that we should just go overseas.

Bit of a different view from the galley today. The weather turned before we could go ashore at Russell island, then a squall forced us into Fitzroy. Overnight it really lived up to its nickname of Fitzrolly. There's nowhere to hide except Cairns & the marinas are all full or crazy $$$ so we'll wait out the blow right here next to Koru 🤣
