A remarkably comfortable upwind sail into Airlie with just the Genoa. Mostly 3.8-5knots until we get a gust of 18knots, then we start moving. No complaints though. We topped up the water tanks & the water heater isn't here yet anyway 🤦🏼‍♀️
We will top up provisions & take Remy to the park I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

Enormous 3kg pulled pork. Some for 2 dinners this week & the rest to freeze for future dinners. Tonight this will be on half an air fried sweet potato with sour cream & a little coleslaw.

It's my first night alone on anchor with Remy... A bit scary in a boat that cannot be singlehanded. The worst thing for me is that, as much as I really struggle with not having alone time to let my brain rest, I don't really keep my routine going so well alone. I need people to care for to care for myself. This has me thinking how much I love my meal plan because otherwise I just wouldn't cook. Even though we're off it because we had a fussy eater with us for 2 weeks, I knew exactly where I was going to jump back in.
Marry me pressure cooked chicken & colcannon 😋
What's a habit that you adopted on your boat that will definitely be kept forever??

CyclonesOZ put this out... Up to a 10m+ wave off Stradbroke island.... Hopefully everyone is in a nice protected anchorage

Massive waves (10m+) hitting the QLD coast near Brisbane.

The low pressure system off the QLD coast will weaken today, however hazardous surf and swell conditions with significant wave heights between 4-6m and peak wave heights to 10m forecast to hit the SEQLD/NENSW coastline through the day.

The Brisbane wave buoy near Stradbroke Island has already clocked a 10.8m wave this morning, and with passing showers and gusty winds forecast to continue today there is a chance this number could grow in the afternoon.

For those away from the coast, showers and strong wind gusts will keep things dreary and chilly, but the sun will be out here and there so make the most of it while it shines.

It goes without saying that ANY marine based activity would be extremely hazardous to partake in today, and whilst I am sure there will be surfers in the water those that tackle waves today across NSW/QLD are the extremely experienced sort, and should not be copied. ~Josh.
