I’ve been away for a while.

Life called me inward.

Into the tender, the uncharted, the parts of myself that needed more than presence — they needed surrender.

I went deep. Into study. Into stillness. Into the kind of becoming that cannot be rushed or performed or shared in real time.

And somewhere in all of it, I remembered again what this work is truly about.

Restoring balance to the body, mind, and spirit.

Slowing down enough to remember who you are beneath the noise.

That is what MOKOYA has always been.

And I am back — rooted, expanded, and ready to hold space again.

In person. In presence. In the old ways woven with the new.

All you need to bring is an open heart.

Lately, I’ve been shown — again and again — what it truly means to trust.

Not the kind of trust that feels comfortable.
But the kind that asks you to soften when everything in you wants to grip.
To surrender when control feels safer.
To have faith when there is no evidence… only knowing.

I’m beginning to understand this more deeply:

Life is not happening to us.
It is happening for us.

Not as punishment.
Not as karma to repay.
But as initiation.
As becoming.

The cosmos meets us at the level of the story we are willing to hold.

And when you realise that…
you realise how powerful you actually are.

Fate is what you inherit.
Destiny is what you choose.

And courage…
is the bridge between the two.

Each day arrives as an invitation:
to dream a new world within you,
and to live in a way that gently reshapes the one around you —
leaving people, places, and all things better than you found them.

And maybe at the centre of it all…
is how we choose to live the life we’ve been given.

There’s a part of the path
that isn’t spoken about or supported enough.

The part after the ceremony.
After the energy activation.
After the expansion breathwork.

When you come back into your life
and suddenly feel… off.

Ungrounded.
Flat.
Disconnected.

And so you reach for the next experience
to feel that connection again.

Not because you’re doing anything wrong—
but because your system hasn’t been supported
to integrate what you experienced. It’s when the nervous system opens…
but isn’t supported to stabilise.

This is the loop.

And it’s incredibly common
in spiritual spaces that prioritise
activation over embodiment.

But this work… real work…
isn’t about how high you can go.

It’s about how deeply you can live it
when you return.

Integration is devotion.

It’s choosing to stabilise,
to ground,
to change your patterns
in real, tangible ways.

This is why I anchor everything back to
the nervous system.

Because without safety,
nothing new can stay.

If you’re feeling this…
you’re not alone.

And you don’t need another experience.
You need a place to land.

May we remember
how to kneel beside the waters.

May we listen
before we speak.

May we protect
what has always protected us.

And may the rivers of this earth
continue to sing their ancient song
long after we are gone.

This isn’t a sales strategy.
It’s a remembering.

I know what it feels like to live in subtle survival mode.
To be capable. Reliable. Strong.
And quietly dysregulated underneath.

We don’t heal through intensity alone.
We heal through safety.

For the month of March, my full 30-Day Nervous System Reset is free.

Because when one woman regulates, her children regulate.
Her relationships regulate.
Her nervous system becomes the new baseline.

Let this be your month of return.

Comment or DM “RESET” and I’ll send it through 🤍

My mom sent me this from my hometown newspaper in Dorchester, Ontario Canada today.

That little pocket of earth where my story began…

where a younger version of me
dreamed without knowing what she was dreaming of.

And there I was.

Printed like a memory
folded into the same pages that once felt so ordinary.

It stopped me for a moment.

Because life does not unfold in straight lines.

It spirals.
It dismantles.
It pulls us far from who we thought we would be.

And yet…

somehow, every fracture becomes part of the design.

Every ending carries a hidden doorway.
Every loss rearranges the path.
Every leap into the unknown reshapes the self.

When Wendy first contacted me about doing a story on my life in Australia,
my immediate reaction was honestly,

How ridiculous.
My life isn’t anything to write home about.

But then I paused.

And I realised…

It is.

Reading this article has stirred a very quiet kind of pride.

Not for achievements,
but for the unseen road —
the risks, the rebuilding, the becoming.

The version of me who once peddled a little bike all around those streets could never have imagined this life.

A gentle reminder that life is often guided by a far bigger design than we can perceive while we are inside it.

🤍

And a heartfelt thank you to Wendy —
for seeing something worth sharing in my story,
and for reflecting it in a way that gently reminds us all:

take the leap, follow the dream…

and one day you may just pause
and find yourself standing inside a life
you can most certainly write home about.

There are seasons when life rearranges you without asking.

A marriage dissolves.
The house floods.
The accident happens.
The plan collapses.

And everything you thought was solid begins to move.

It is easy in those moments to feel punished.
Targeted.
Abandoned.

But what if this is not happening to you?

What if it is happening for your becoming?

There is a poem called Ruin that says:

When love has taken you by the hand
and led you into ruin,
trust that it is only leading you
where you were meant to go.

Ruin is not always destruction.
Sometimes it is redirection.

Sometimes the structure that falls was never meant to hold the fullness of who you are becoming.

Surrender does not mean passivity.
It means trusting the intelligence that moves tides, grows forests, and beats your heart — even when your mind cannot make sense of it.

We suffer most when we argue with reality.

When we insist it should have looked different.
Lasted longer.
Been safer.
Been fairer.

But when we soften…
When we release the grip…
When we say, “Show me where this is leading”…

Something shifts.

We move from victim to participant.
From “why me?” to “what is this shaping in me?”

Trust is not naïve optimism.
It is courage.

It is the decision to believe that even this —
especially this —
is part of your path.

Sometimes life falls apart because it is carrying you somewhere your old life could not reach.

The blessing is not in the pain.
The blessing is in the becoming.

And surrender is the doorway.

If you are in a season of ruin right now,
breathe.

You are not being punished.
You are being repositioned.

There is a moment on the healing path when you realise the suffering was never actually about what happened.

It was about the story you built around how it was supposed to happen.

Attachment is subtle. It hides inside hope. Inside fantasy. Inside the version of the future you had already fallen in love with.

I sat recently and watched my own mind like a cinema screen. All the things I was gripping. All the ways I thought someone should have shown up differently. All the endings I was trying to rewrite.

And something inside me softened.

People do what people do.

Their behaviour is information. Not a personal attack. Not a cosmic betrayal. Just information.

Radical acceptance is one of the most embodied forms of power I have ever practiced. It doesn’t mean you stay. It doesn’t mean you agree. It doesn’t mean you silence your standards.

It means you stop fighting reality.

And when you stop fighting reality… your nervous system exhales.

Maybe the deepest maturity of love is this:

Allowing people to be exactly who they are
while choosing what you will or will not stand inside of.

Acceptance is not something we are taught.

But it might be the gateway to peace.
