At The Bays Aged Care, we love helping residents stay connected to their loved ones. 🫶 There are plenty of welcoming indoor and outdoor spaces where residents can enjoy spending time together with family and friends.

Resident, Ken, loves it when his daughters pop in for a visit. He appreciates catching up over a coffee in the café or taking a gentle walk around the gardens with them.

💗 The three things Beryl loves about living at The Bays and staying connected to the local community:
1. Staying active – I continue to play tennis and participate in the senior’s tournament every Thursday.
2. Volunteering – I help at the local op shop every week and I get to bring back jigsaw puzzles for myself and other residents to enjoy.
3. The location – we’re close enough that I can walk to my favourite spots, like the foreshore or the shops to catch up with friends. But, it’s always nice to come home to the safety and care at The Bays.

🌟On Aged Care Employee Day, we’d like to express our sincere gratitude to The Bays’ dedicated team members for everything you do to enhance the wellbeing of residents who call our community home.🌟

We recently took part in Apollo Care’s very special initiative called 'Moments that Matter'. This initiative encouraged staff across our 14 not-for-profit communities to recognise and nominate the moments of kindness, compassion and teamwork that make a genuine difference to the lives of residents and their families, and their colleagues.

Thank you to each and every one of our team for these little moments that shine so bright.
