💙✨ As Speech Pathology Week comes to a close, we want to finish by celebrating the stories that mean the most.

This year’s theme, “Communication Creates Possibility,” has been such a beautiful reminder that communication is about so much more than words.

It’s about being understood.
Being included.
Sharing a thought, a feeling, a joke or an idea.
Asking for help. Making a choice. Building a friendship. Connecting with the people who matter most. 💬🌈

This week, our families have generously shared the communication moments that have brought them pride, joy and new possibilities — and we feel incredibly privileged to celebrate these alongside them.

To every child and family we work with: we see the effort, the growth, the connection and the countless moments that make your communication journey uniquely yours. 🐻‍❄️💙

Thank you for allowing us to be part of those moments.
Here’s to continuing to create more opportunities for every child to communicate, connect and be heard in the ways that are right for them. ✨

📚✨ Turning pages into possibilities this Book Week! ✨📚

SP Giordarna headed to our local library to hunt down some new books to bring into her therapy sessions — because at Polar, we LOVE using books to support communication and learning! 💙

Book sharing can create so many opportunities to work on language, literacy, phonological awareness, speech sounds and joint attention… all while exploring fun characters, interesting stories and new ideas together. 🌈📖

The best part? One book can be used in so many different ways depending on each child’s interests, strengths and goals. 🥰

💬✨ Speech Pathology Week 2026 is here!

This year’s theme, “Communication Creates Possibility,” is all about celebrating the many different ways communication helps us connect, participate, express ourselves and be understood. 💙

To celebrate, SP Giordarna is kicking off our “Share Your Story” series! Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing some of the meaningful communication moments, milestones and possibilities our Polar families have experienced. 🐻‍❄️✨

Every communication story is unique, and we can’t wait to celebrate the moments that matter most to you. 💬🌈

We will also be running a colouring in competition for all the kids to enjoy. We will have several prizes up for grabs for all different age groups. Colouring in sheets will be available at all SP sessions. Competition will close in 2 weeks. 🌈🖍️

Inspired by Daisy Meadows’ Rainbow Magic series, our team sprinkled a little fairy dust over this year’s theme, Symphony of Stories. We love exploring stories about different people, cultures, experiences and topics—they bring new ideas to life, spark magical conversations and help us understand ourselves and connect with one another.
