When my childhood friend writes a children’s book… of course we need to check it out! It’s freshly released so they were pretty chuffed to be among the first people to be able to read it. It was loved equally by all three of them… especially the fact that there was a bee on one of the pages! We all admired the different dresses and all the fun things you can do in a dress. These bees of mine are tough critics but it’s a yes from them! 🐝💜

Week 2 of the holidays!

Magic and circus show, colour run, youth fest, cinema visits, a double birthday celebration, party games, craft, karaoke, a visit to RAD rolled ice cream, a surprise colour adventure and so much more.

We’re one week into the term and we’ve already had a number of requests for next holidays.

An added bonus was being at youth fest and getting quick text from the Mum of a Bee, saying she’d seen us at a distance and to say hi. The Bees made a dash over to her booth, kicked some footballs and scored some great prizes. They were proud to announce that they’re Bees from the Beehive 💜

Here is the first batch of the Hologram Zoo photos… if there are blurry people, assume there was screaming and either jumping into the arms of our friends, or trying to hide behind someone happening at the time. Unfortunately, there are no photos of the snake coming down from tje roof and nearly eating us all…. We were unprepared and too busy nearly jumping out of our skin and then sheepishly laughing to capture the moment. 🐍🐝

There will be more photos and videos of our adventure yesterday to come… but I just wanted to publicly apologise to our Beehive families as I did not have near miss encounters with sharks, spiders, crocodiles, snakes and dinosaurs on the risk assessment. Thankfully, we all made it home safely. 🐝

After last term being so rainy, the start of this term has kicked off with us finally being able to get back outside! The tomatoes, mandarins, snow peas, passionfruit and lettuce have been harvested and sampled.
We love collecting versions of Spot It in the Beehive and apparently now we also like collecting different variations of Uno…. Uno No Mercy and Uno Teams had taken over long-time favourite, Uno Flip…. But we may have a new favourite. Uno Attack has resulted in a lot of shocked squealing and a lot of laughs already!
The Bees have loved being able to get back to seeing their friends. 🐝

Goal for this holidays is to get up-to-date with sharing some Beehive adventures from this term… but for now, here’s a bucket filler photo.
Today was a particularly fun day. I’m sure we will master the Photo Booth one day but today was not that day, so for now it remains a short wire. This was the second attempt because the first attempt was simply a series of forehead and chin photos. 😂 🐝💜
