On Friday, we celebrated Aged Care Employee Day and took the opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing staff! 🌟
Our dedicated team work tirelessly each and every day to provide care, support and kindness to our residents, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they do. 💐

The Grey Nomads coffee van was onsite to help us celebrate and show our appreciation to our staff for all their hard work. ☕🍰

A huge shout out to one of our wonderful village residents, Elsie, who has been raising money at our monthly Village Market Day by running a stall, selling a variety of baked goods, crafts and other items.

Thanks to Elsie's generosity and the incredible support of our residents, she has kindly donated all of the proceeds to the Hospice.

What a beautiful example of the kindness, compassion and community spirit that makes our village such a special place. We are so proud to have residents like Elsie, whose generosity and caring nature continue to make a real difference in our community and beyond. 💙

🎄🦞 Christmas in July by the Water! 🦞🎄

What a wonderful day our residents enjoyed celebrating Christmas in July at the beautiful Waterfront Restaurant!

Everyone was treated to a delicious lunch with dessert while taking in the gorgeous waterfront views, making for the perfect setting to catch up with friends and enjoy some festive cheer. A huge thank you to the amazing staff at the Waterfront Restaurant for their warm hospitality and exceptional service – you helped make the day extra special.

The room was filled with plenty of laughter, great conversations, and Christmas spirit, with our lucky raffle winners taking home some fantastic prizes to top off a fabulous afternoon.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such an enjoyable day. ❤️🎅🎁

🎨🌏 Creativity is in full swing at Seaview!

Residents have been busy adding some colour by painting beautiful decorations for our Commonwealth Games display in the foyer.

A special thank you to Ann and Trevor, who lovingly painted the countries' flags now proudly on display. 🏳️🌍 Our foyer also features a Commonwealth Games information wall and a medal table, where we'll be cheering on the athletes, following the results, and celebrating the achievements of all participating nations—especially our Aussie team! 🇦🇺🥇

It's a wonderful way to bring everyone together, spark conversations, and share in the excitement of the Games while showcasing our residents' creativity.

There was no need to get dressed up today... our residents and staff proudly rocked their favourite pyjamas for National Pyjama Day! 😄🧸

There was plenty of laughter, comfy outfits, and smiles as everyone embraced the fun for such a worthwhile cause. It was wonderful to see our residents & staff get involved.

National Pyjama Day is all about raising funds to support children in foster care, helping provide learning opportunities, educational resources, and brighter futures for kids who need it most. ❤️

Together, we've helped support a such a worthy cause —one pair of pyjamas at a time! 😜 💙✨

Residents in Daintree enjoyed a fun craft session, creating these beautiful dragonflies. 🪷✨ Their imagination and artistic flair were on full display, with some wonderful creations taking shape.
