Highlands Health Centre Our GPs offer a range of healthcare services and special interests including antenatal care, sports medicine and vaccinations.

Highlands Health Centre is a bulk billing practice and is open Monday to Saturday to provide comprehensive coordinated healthcare services, promoting health and well-being as well as managing illness. We are co-located with the Australian Skin Cancer Centre for skin cancer checks, treatment and management. Highlands Health Centre accepts walk ins, and offers bulk billed Telehealth appointments.

How do you know if someone is having a stroke? Think… F.A.S.T.

The Stroke Foundation recommends the F.A.S.T. test as an easy way to remember the most common signs of stroke. Using the F.A.S.T. test involves asking these simple questions:

📌 Face Check their face. Has their mouth drooped?
📌 Arms Can they lift both arms?
📌 Speech Is their speech slurred? Do they understand you?
📌 Time Is critical. If you see any of these signs, call 000 straight away.

By participating in MyMedicare, our centre reinforces its commitment to working collaboratively to support our patients’ health - both now and in the future.

MyMedicare is a voluntary registration program that formalises the link between you, your GP and regular medical centre. By registering to MyMedicare, you take greater control of your health, allowing you to navigate your care with the support of your chosen primary care team, who can deliver personalised chronic care tailor to your long-term health.

Register by completing a form at our Centre or through your Medicare Online Account or the Express Plus Medicare Mobile app. More information at https://www.health.gov.au/our-work/mymedicare/patients or call us and our friendly staff will be able to assist.
