Welcome, Dr Tharmini Sutharshan!
Dr Tharmini received her Doctor of Medicine from the Czech Republic in 2004 and completed her Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of GPs in 2022. She has been working at our sister practice in Kingston Tasmania and we are pleased to welcome her to Holland Park!
Dr Tharmini is a specialist GP with particular interests in:
• Chronic disease management
• Health assessments and preventative care
• Men’s, women’s, senior’s and children’s health
• Mental health
• Sexual health
In addition to English, Dr Tharmini speaks Tamil.

How do you know if someone is having a stroke? Think… F.A.S.T.

The Stroke Foundation recommends the F.A.S.T. test as an easy way to remember the most common signs of stroke. Using the F.A.S.T. test involves asking these simple questions:

📌 Face Check their face. Has their mouth drooped?
📌 Arms Can they lift both arms?
📌 Speech Is their speech slurred? Do they understand you?
📌 Time Is critical. If you see any of these signs, call 000 straight away.

By registering to MyMedicare, you take greater control of your health, allowing you to navigate your care with the support of your chosen primary care team, who can deliver personalised chronic care tailor to your long-term health.

Welcome, Dr Alan Cameron!
Dr Cameron trained as a GP, but for the last 20 years has worked exclusively in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers. He is a Fellow of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland.
Dr Cameron offers a comprehensive range of skin cancer services, including full skin checks, spot checks for urgent assessment, and skin cancer surgery, including flap and graft repairs. For certain cancers, treatment options without stitches are available.
Dr Cameron provides total body photography for patients at high risk of melanoma and photodynamic therapy for sunspots.
