ReSounding - Yoga and Sound

ReSounding - Yoga and Sound ReSounding is a combination of deeply relaxing sound and therapeutic yoga.

The soothing sounds of high vibrational instruments and voice create space for deep relaxation and stress relief and can support self healing through Deep Sound Immersions. I am a certified yoga and sound therapist, having trained with the Sound Healing Academy and the Guru Ram Das Centre for Medicine and Humanology. I started my journey when I undertook Level 1 Kundalini Yoga Teacher training in

2011/12. I completed 2 of the level 2 modules before I discovered The Guru Ram DasCentre in 2016 and refined my learning to the therapeutic application of Kundalini Yoga. It was Kundalini Yoga that first introduced me to sound and in 2018 I purchased my first large brass gong and undertook group sound training with Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux (US) and Jaye Roberts (Aus). In 2021 I furthered my therapeutic sound training with the Sound Healing Academy (SHA, UK) with a diploma in one to one sound healing and I continue to undertake training to deepen my understanding and knowledge. I love to use my voice and have completed training with SHA and others to further develop the qualities of using my voice for healing, including Nada Yoga and Soul Voice techniques. I also hold Reiki level 1 and 2 certifications and use energy healing as part of my individual therapeutic sound healing practice.

Deep Sound Immersion uses the power of sound to take you out of your busy mind, allow your body to relax and reset your nervous system. This is an opportunity to activate your inner healer and bring yourself into a state of wellbeing.

Exchange is $25 or $20 if you have a concession.

Bring your yoga mat and blankets/cushions to create your cosy nest and I'll do the rest.

I'm having a weaving day. It's a calm space for me, the constant movement of my hands, mental focus on the weave. Bringing me back to myself.

Supporting people to find their calm space is what drives me to keep sharing deep sound immersion and Kundalini for challenging emotions workshops in Ipswich and the Northern Rivers.

I'm exploring the possibility of expanding my offerings here in Ipswich with some weave and yarn workshops. Based on the wisdom of Australia's First Nation women, the act of weaving, the threads in the hands, gentle movement and creation opens a space for connection and healing.

As we head into May this week, I'm looking forward to another month of sound, yoga and finding stillness in an ever faster moving world.

I'll be sharing deep relaxation through sound in North Ipswich and Wollongbar on 7th, 23rd and 24th (Wollongbar) of May.

Continuing with our Kundalini and Sound series, we'll be diving into shame and guilt on Saturday 23 May. Shame is the biggest blocker when it comes to self love and acceptance, so we'll be unpacking self animosity and asking "what needs to shift to open the path to self love?" in a powerful hour of Kundalini followed by the deep relaxation and integration of Deep Sound Immersion. Bringing you home to peace and stillness in your heart.

And if you just want to relax into the sound you are welcome to join in after the Kundalini too.
